Riverboat Gambler in a wind storm.
McClelland Eastern Carolina Ribbon in a DrG, Earl Grey on the side.
I've been avoiding cavendish blends lately, but Obsidian, from P&C is reall a nice smoke. Currently fired in a Comoy bulldog. Glad I ordered a lb. of this. Lat, VA, cavendish, and Perique. Good stuff.
SG GG almost dried out, so into a Falcon it goes!
MacBaren's Club Blend in a small anonymous meerschaum. This tobacco works for me in every pipe I've smoked it in. Small changes in how it comes on, but still retains it's personality.
Bullseye Flake, followed by some PA in an Iwan Ries.
Stanwell Honey & Caramel.
Afternoon all. Erinmore Flake in a Johs Bulldog - this is a great tobacco to snork!
MacB golden extra in a rodesian
Condor Long Cut in a rusticated Mastro de Paja.
McC #5120 Fragrant Virginia Ribbon in a DrG with the evening coffee.
Second bowl of the day. MacBaren 7 Seas Royal in a Vauen pot. My first ever bowl of this and much like the Regular (White) I tried earlier in the week it is very good. I see these blends as definite components of the long term cellar - tough to beat at ~$27 a pound. I think I prefer the Regular but I smoked that in a meer which may have given give it an advantage
Another of the seemingly endless samples from the Chicago Pipe show. Meershaum Reserve from House of Calabash. Aged tobies provide a smooth, mild, yetflavorful smoke.
Smoking out of a meer claw.
La Fin Dumonde unfiltered tripel with a bowl of C&D habana daydreams
Sutliff Private Stock #5 in LaRocca Due
Erinmore Flake in a cob...
Troost special cav in a stanwell 63m
My first smoke today....Dark Flake in the dedicated Dublin. I normally don't mind working Sunday but it was a rough one.
Lined the medium IMP meerschaum freehand with 3 pieces of MacBaren Club Blend and the filled up the bowl with Petersons Nutty Cut. Not worth repeating.
Bob's Square Cut in a Country Gent.
Have a great evening, fellows.
