I've been avoiding cavendish blends lately, but Obsidian, from P&C is reall a nice smoke. Currently fired in a Comoy bulldog. Glad I ordered a lb. of this. Lat, VA, cavendish, and Perique. Good stuff.

MacBaren's Club Blend in a small anonymous meerschaum. This tobacco works for me in every pipe I've smoked it in. Small changes in how it comes on, but still retains it's personality.

Second bowl of the day. MacBaren 7 Seas Royal in a Vauen pot. My first ever bowl of this and much like the Regular (White) I tried earlier in the week it is very good. I see these blends as definite components of the long term cellar - tough to beat at ~$27 a pound. I think I prefer the Regular but I smoked that in a meer which may have given give it an advantage ;)

Another of the seemingly endless samples from the Chicago Pipe show. Meershaum Reserve from House of Calabash. Aged tobies provide a smooth, mild, yetflavorful smoke.

My first smoke today....Dark Flake in the dedicated Dublin. I normally don't mind working Sunday but it was a rough one.
