Suzy and Molly were well fed before I woke up, so the only thing I had to do was light up a bowl of the current Three Nuns tinned version in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded. But I do have the baseball talk channel on the XM to listen to.

Was in a strange smoking mood last night. After obligatory Plum Cake, grabbed the plastic bag of Sugar Barrel and smoked it the rest of the night. Enjoyed it while watching the Baltimore O's give the Cubs a good old fashioned :dh1: then watched as the D-Backs beat the Phil's for the second night in a row.

Preparing 1 flake of Scotch Flake to put in the Askwith Morta with Olivewood Cap, going to go and get the heebee jeebee's off of me after our walkabout, the Tsuge and the MM Diplomat did not prevent this. I took 7 ticks off the boy and two off of me and the crawl factor is out of control, to the showers, damn Prednisone! I'll need a quadruple double espresso..........

To Carter Hall fans, P&C still lists that as back ordered. Walnut is back ordered. Same for many tin versions of Dunhill. But all is not lost! They have Mixture 79 and Paladin in stock!

Ugh, ticks are nasty critters. We have problems with fleas as well as ticks around here. Little demons they are!
    Cool looking pipe!

Smoking some Prince Albert in a MM bent Washington (larger bowl than is usual for Washingtons).
Been a while since I've had PA. Smooth and ultra-cool smoke, but I still prefer CH and SWR for my Burleys.
Hope you all have a great weekend :puffy:

Bayou Morning in a rock cob. Listening to Marcia Ball. Getting psyched up for her concert in Phoenix next week.

Finally starting my first bowl of the day. FVF in the Wally Frank Royal cob. I can definitely tell the difference that age makes in this stuff. This newer stuff of mine isn't quite the same as what Psquared sent. Not nearly as sweet and laid back. Still a damn fine smoke though.

All done, the garden is free of weeds! I'm relaxing with a second bowl of FMOTT and coffee and Henry is double checking.

FVF can be the epitome of an aged Va! It will keep improving for as long as you age it! I was fortunate enough to come across a 14 year old supply and it is spectacular! The longer you lay it down, the better it will get!
