Well, there is at least one historical precedent that comes to mind. But then again, I've got a frozen brain so what do I know.

The problem with making ice cream at home is that that you can't just make one type. Then you try them all out and get an ice cream headache.
Peterson 80S with a PLip is a solution when filled up with slightly too dry Old Dublin, which is what I'm doing right now.

Well, my Wessex billiards are getting a well deserved rest while I commence to burning in some NOS "pre-drought" old-fashioned air-cured MM Washington Cobs, yeah, the ones with the huge thick bowls and nice finish that look like a cob... this guy had two boards of them at a local swap meet and sold them to me for $2 apiece and naturally I bought every straight stem Washington he had, I have well over a dozen now... this find has sure rekindled my passion for the cob, so, I'll be burning in NOS Cobs with Carter Hall for the weekend and will once again have some good quality Cobs back in my rotation that I will truly enjoy!:ohyh:

Afternoon, gents. I had tons of stuff I needed to get done today, and didn't do any of it. So to celebrate that, I'm smoking FVF in my Wally Frank Royal again and drinking a Dundee IPA. Quiet evening on the porch.

Enjoying beautiful weather on this parfait cob Saturday. First bowl was HV Old Dark Fired mixed in a Hackert. Immediately followed by ABF topped with Carter Hall in a Gent w/Forever stem.

On page 65 right now, trying to play catch up. I am having Direct TV put in today. I have had a 3D tv for a while now, but no 3D channels. Thats all 'bout to change! I am so frickin excited! So anyway, Jordan (the TV guy) says I have about three hours. Should be able to get caught up on this thread in that time.

Earlier today I asked Jedi if I could have pipe club in the living room tonight. (you know, so we could watch tv in 3D) This is how that conversation went, via text message.

"would you be pissed if we did Pipe club in the living room tonight? We will leave the windows open."
"Not a chance. Not going to happen!"
    "Are you forbidding me?"
    "Yes, you have been forbidden."
"Hmmm, I don't usually handle that well."
"I will be so mad at you *explitive*. Beyond mad!"
    "..Why so mad?"
"I WILL KARATE CHOP YOU IN THE NECK IF YOU EVEN THINK THAT YOU WILL SMOKE PIPES IN THE HOUSE. I can not believe that you would even think that would be okay."
    "Wow, you have anger issues."
"OMG, you are a giant *explitive*
"I'm telling the PSF that you are being unreasonable."
    silence followed.

So it looks like thats not going to happen. If she only knew how often I smoke a pipe in the house when she is not here. Speaking of that....

I am currently smoking some MD mix in the Rock Cob :hbang:.....In the house.

One thing I notice is there is no residual odors from my smoking a pipe, unlike cheap cigars.
But I am the only one here, so no one can complain.;)
