One of the topics (yes, we have topics, there is a purpose for these meetings ya know) was the increase in younger folks taking up the pipe these days. Maybe 10 minutes later, a young fella stops and asks if he can sit with us. He took up the pipe a while ago and wanted to talk pipes and tobacco a bit. Keep in mind, from where I sit anyone in the 40's and under range is "young". :old:

I'm about to have some Luxury Navy Flake in a With Pipe and Book poker. I think I may have not dried it out enough, it seems a little hesitant to light up. If it acts up too much I will have to leave it for tomorrow, but I refuse to call that DGTing because I think that's a silly term...

My own blend I'm currently working on. Going to be smoking a lot of it these next few months to make changes. It's an aromatic.

I have the other Frog blends waiting in the wings and I look forward to popping those tins one day. I'll turn my focus on those once I finish FMC and OTB. I have too many opened tins right now properly jarred of course.

Me and the dog on the back patio. A glass of Muscadine wine and a bowl of Stanwell Vanilla in the cob. Life is good.

I would like this post 10 times if I could. Because it reminded me of the time I drank home-made Muscadine wine in Palestine, Tx, back in '84 with a bunch of my Sunday Vollyball friends. Thanks.

Been slowly sipping on #2015 all afternoon, putting the pipe down, and coming back to it. Excellent stuff, always. I think I'll have a bit of Brit's Balkan in a straight Legend now. Maybe a few sips of Old Grand Dad..
