Still better than Rata
Well we gave them a good show today a mere 22 pages of bit's, bytes, tribbles and dottle to clean up and the night crew to take on, get JimInks away from the nubiles and wipe the St Bernard's chin and please no catnip for the girls.......... now where did I put my Tipi?
One of the topics (yes, we have topics, there is a purpose for these meetings ya know) was the increase in younger folks taking up the pipe these days. Maybe 10 minutes later, a young fella stops and asks if he can sit with us. He took up the pipe a while ago and wanted to talk pipes and tobacco a bit. Keep in mind, from where I sit anyone in the 40's and under range is "young".
PA in a Custombilt with Diet Dr. Pepper on the side.
Escudo in my new Wayne Teipen (shameless name drop). I met Wayne
This pipe is righteous!
I'm about to have some Luxury Navy Flake in a With Pipe and Book poker. I think I may have not dried it out enough, it seems a little hesitant to light up. If it acts up too much I will have to leave it for tomorrow, but I refuse to call that DGTing because I think that's a silly term...
My own blend I'm currently working on. Going to be smoking a lot of it these next few months to make changes. It's an aromatic.
I have the other Frog blends waiting in the wings and I look forward to popping those tins one day. I'll turn my focus on those once I finish FMC and OTB. I have too many opened tins right now properly jarred of course.
Rock on! This post made my night. You're the man Mark, you're the man....
And after several bowls do you move on to Steeleye Span?
Having some FM Cellar brought by 421eme and wine. Lovely evening with Carl and his Mrs.!
Back home from a little escapade in Montréal today...

smoking said tobacco in my poor mans P-Lip maple wood pipe
Me and the dog on the back patio. A glass of Muscadine wine and a bowl of Stanwell Vanilla in the cob. Life is good.

I've got you a little hate package going out this week too. I think you'll like it
I would like this post 10 times if I could. Because it reminded me of the time I drank home-made Muscadine wine in Palestine, Tx, back in '84 with a bunch of my Sunday Vollyball friends. Thanks.
Been slowly sipping on #2015 all afternoon, putting the pipe down, and coming back to it. Excellent stuff, always. I think I'll have a bit of Brit's Balkan in a straight Legend now. Maybe a few sips of Old Grand Dad..
