I'm back from having a wonderful time with family. Suzy and Molly apparently slept most of the time we were gone, but they sure were happy to see us when we got back. Now, we're settled and watching The Presidents on C-Span 3; this one is on Rutherford B. Hayes.
As for smoking, earlier, it was Dunbar in a medium bend 1983 Ascorti New Dear KS. Now, I'm nearly finished with a bowl of 2008 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed (many thanks to Highstump) in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09). I have a bottle of Sprite, Suzy laying at my feet (Molly is sleeping on m'lady's lap), and thinking about my next smoke.
Just had a nice surprise. My sister in law and her boyfriend stopped by. I've slowly been converting him to pipe smoking. We smoked a couple bowls of KK together and now a couple bowls of LBF. G'night everybody.
It's official I'm a goner - having a second bowl of Grasmere Flake in the lakeland dedicated Pietenpauw billiard, with the panga panga accented stem. Between this stuff and GH Brown Flake Scented I may not need to smoke anything else................ever ( I probably will - but I wont need to ).
Perrier on the side.
Quick edit to note that Grasmere and BFS both seem to benefit from the narrow bowl of the Pietenpauw - the flavor seemed less intense in the Vauen pot earlier today
I would greatly appreciate it, sir, if you don't give them any more ideas!!! If they see your post, I'm doomed!!! I'm just glad they don't have thumbs to light matches!
digging thru my box of pipes found my 1st briar pipe - not sure where the bit went off of it - so i took that pipe and a couple others out to garage for resurfacing and a fresh polish
another hour on the buffing wheel and i should have a couple new pipes to smoke
but for now....
i am moving on to some GLP key largo in my SPILLPROOF Pipe ( Thanks Spill ! )
Aldo has decided to go green, with some Pine Grove.
That is one Great Pipe !!!

Well, I made it to page 95, smoked about 2 1/2 bowls of nasty stuff in a Cobb in the process, am now crosseyed from staring at this phone.
Parked at the usual Sunday night truck stop, with the usual cranky lullaby intermittently rising to a creschendo behind my cab. The rented coffee is due to be returned and I am due to give the pillow some head.
Someday I Will be caught up again!
Goodnight Gents, happy day you mothers.
I'm loving some PK in the mm cob.
I must be halfway gone, Jack, but i'm laughing my butt off at the wording of a couple of your statements.
Decided on Year 2002 Squadron Leader in a 1975 smooth slight bend Tinderbox Aalborg freehand made by Nording. Makes me want to buy more and age it. This blend has an interesting Virginia sweetness not present when fresh out of the tin. Very tasty!
Memo to Rekampepip: I had to close the lid on my lap top so Suzy and Molly wouldn't see that picture of smoking cats. If they get tempted, you'll get the blame, buddy!
MB Mixture in a Falcon with an Arnold Palmer on the side.
Now you know that cant end well
