You can tell when it's Maury. He tucks that thing up under his chin, especially when ladies are present.

Finishing up some Vauen No. 14 in a Diplomat ...

Both. The erotic thing is how they get me to pay the fines.

    Works every time, too.

Glad to hear it. That's a nice feeling. I had the same experience a long time ago with St Bruno, and smoked almost nothing else for years. Scented flake tobacco: cool smoking, satisfying, fragrant, slow burning, and economical in the long run. What's not to like?

That's an important find. Theory seems to suggest the opposite ... namely that aromatics need room to unfold, whereas a narrow bowl tends to dampen flavors and aroma. In fact what you've found is that a narrow bowl can actually help concentrate the flavor. YAPPG also mentioned this in an earlier post.

Maybe the distinction lies in whether the tobacco is a loose cut or compressed. If I smoke something like Nutty Cut (a loose cut) in a narrow bowl, it has zero flavor. But in a big wide bowl, it's rich and delicious. Flakes might do the exact opposite, but it's not clear why.

LBF in a Le Nuvole ...

They have those bedroom eyes that seem to drill right into you with simmering passion. It's probably just nearsightedness.

I was busy working and forgot to list what I'm smoking: Shortcut to Mushrooms (thanks FlatbushPaul) in a straight 1979 MM Legend.

Now, it's Old Dark Fired in a brown sandblasted slight bend 1982 Savinelli Non Pareil 99 with a lucite ferrule and stem. Drinking ice water, and planning on what pipes to use for an incoming hate package. There's a few I haven't smoked in a while, and I'll have to add them to the rotation once again.

Edit: Wrong thread. I'm not smoking Black Lung in a Pony Foot meer. Instead I'm working.

I was working, now I'm reading box scores and smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter. This blend sure can be habit forming.

My last smoke of the day/night/morning is Virginia Spice in a 2013 straight 5th Avenue DGE Nose warmer cob. Watching The Unknown Marx Brothers documentary and drinking ice water.

Big day here at Casa Muddler - I became a grandfather today for the first time. Mother & daughter both fine. I guess I should be smoking a cigar. Instead it's Old Gowrie in a Pietenpauw.
