I hope your Bride is doing well. As a veteran of a knee replacement, I can sympathize with her pain. I pray all goes well and she recovers quickly.

Good morning all. PA in a mm cob. dbl pinch of Grizzly wintergreen in the lip. Hot, black Pg tips in the mug to take the chill off the early morning. Looks like it's gonna be a nice sunny day for a while. Hope all is well.
I have never, ever said this anywhere, but something got me to thinking about it. I really do appreciate you all here! Thanks

6:00am in the desert. Getting ready to pick up the 5 grandkids for school, then off to the hospital to visit my wife.
Gulping down coffee and smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning before making the trip.

Smoking my uber huge GBD Collector Prestige Poker. It can double as a planter to give you an idea how big it is.

Smoking my first home blend in it. I call it "Old Treachery"

Tin note reveals a certain sullied sweetness from the Mac Barren Virginia #1. Like your prom date returning home with a hopelessly crushed corsage, wrinkled dress and bed hair. The spiciness of the St James perique is prominent. Like the Jovan Sex Appeal you doused yourself with before said prom.
And the Mac Barren Latakia offers a hint of smoke and leather. Such as the Marlboros you snuck from your old man for the prom and the belt he used to bust your ass with upon your return.

A well disciplined nose may detect notes of chocolate and vanilla. These are contributed by the stainless mixing bowl used to make fudge at Christmas.

Charring light is jolting. sugary, but dominated by the peppery perique. Like habanero jelly. Then it relaxes a bit, but is still stealing the show. Like a horridly misplaced tuba solo during a Stravinsky waltz. It will be not ignored in the same way as the Glenn Close character in "Fatal Attraction". And would dispatch a bunny with prejudice to prove it's point.
The latakia stumbles along, smiling in the discord. Like the kid in your group you always invited along to hang out. Because you just did. Even though no one really liked him much at all.

The room note according to my girl friend was "nice". So a touch of objectivity in the review.

Thanks for all the concern for my wife. It has been six months of hell having to take care of everything around the house and the grandkids that we are raising.
Glad to have so many friends in town to take care of the kids for a few days.
A few more cups of java and out the door I go. May crack open the tin of Boston 1776 from 09 that I found yesterday on the long drive today.

If you have more than just the mug, we ought ride sometime! My Springer Classic is very outgoing and gets along with all other motorcycles that speak English as their native tongue.
