Some lat/black cav/lpf mix in a cob. Still with hot tea to drink.

I guess the true test guinea pig of a rock cob would need be either
JimInks ( as he has a vast collection of pipes )
    or
Jpberg ( as he seams to be persnickety )

    :whis:

    .............

off for a 145 mile run got lunch box cooler filled with pipes and tobacco
grabbing silver wind cap for my pipe today

As you know, I'm on record as saying the rock cobs give the smoker as true a tobacco flavor as any pipe material I've smoked. The one I have is no clencher and takes time to smoke, but it's worth it. I don't think you can ghost a rock cob either.

I love mine too. I've smoked lat blends, Lakelands, va's, everything in it. No ghost. I just wipe it out with a paper towel when I'm done smoking.

Nope. That's my computer wallpaper. Nice to think about, though, isn't it?

Oh I do indeed have more than the mug, but I live in New Mexico and your profile says that you are all the way over in VA. If I ever had out that way I will drop you a line and we can get together and ride. Not riding a HD at this time. You can check out my stable in the thread that was started about bikes.

Still smoking rock. This could become addictive. More Classic Burley Kake in my black rock cob.

    Good Afternoon,
I'm going home with Uhle's #00 in the new Davorin Copper Morta Bent Egg/Apple (not sure what to call it) with ice tea on the side.

    Good evening gents,
it's time for the after dinner bowl, I'm going to watch a movie - so I need a big one. Therefore I loaded the Polinski ROCK with McClellands matured VA#24. Great VA - only now, after I've almost finished the first 100g I'm getting the full range of flavors and nuances...but I got a tin of Dark Star in my cellar I also haven't tried yet, hopefully it's somewhat similar.

Conan predicted that In the Year 2000, there would be Escudos worthy of kudos. Well, let's check it out:

I don't know. That stuff looks all dark and rotten to me. Let's look at the paper insert more closely:

Wow, that thing's got cooties! OK, zero in on the weed:

Looks like some sort of material you might encounter in the roofing trade.

Well, I hear Claudio Cavicchi is an Escudo man, so I'll use one of his pipes:

Uh oh. That pipe's a bruiser, and I need hands-free smoking for the next hour. So let's try the 34 gram Le Nuvole:

Pinch, load, sprinkle some crumbs on top, fire up, produce some clouds.

    Verdict: Conan was right.
