Heading out to the porch to watch the river, a beautiful evening, the sun will soon disappear over the hill into Bergville, so I have a huge pot of Tetley Tea, a Peterson X220 jammed full of superb Quiet Nights, happy smoking Gentlemen.

Telegraph Hill in a Northern Briars billiard.

Friggin' hot outside now. Guess we're done with the nice weather for good this time. Here we go, before long it will be too hot out to even sit on the porch and smoke. I'll probably be spending more time at the B&M then.

Dinner's going to run late, so I've time to smoke Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter.

Didn't get on to post last night, but last night was a late night bowl of Peretti Blend No. 333 in my DGE (cob) nosewarmer.
Tonight I am loading up some Peretti Blend D-7485 in the same pipe.
A Peretti style break in of sorts. :th1:

Only 5 pages behind. Not too shabby.
It'll be GH Burley & Bright tonight, and
possibly the rest of the week as most of
my cellar is on it's way to FL.

C&D Oriental Silk in my meer. So far it tastes best in this pipe, however, it needs to be smoked slowly or all the flavor is lost.

Smoking some SWR in a MM Legend bent.
Probably going to stay up to watch the Nationals-Dodgers game. Nats are looking good lately but have a tough assignment tonight against Clayton Kershaw.

Chilly but pleasant night here. Got the window open a crack. Apparently going to be very warm, up into the 80s over the next couple days.
My latest forays into the screened porch to enjoy an evening smoke have been disturbed by some very large wolf spiders. Creepy things, due to their size, but not very aggressive. Ticks are much worse.
The other day a black widow spider was casually walking across the kitchen counter  When I first moved out to the mountains the number of poisonous critters freaked me out a bit. But I've become more of a mountain man lately and don't mind them as much :)
