Loading up Borkum Riff in my Walnut Volcano and heading out to garage to make dust piles
And How do you like Walnut Pipe - Taste any difference yet ?
Just wondered, at the mention of your rock dust, how it would work mixed with some kind of high heat tollorent bonding agent and then poked in around the shank end of a mm cob. To keep from bottom burnout.
I like it a lot! The walnut really does add a different kind of sweetness to the smoke. It's hard to pin down. This thing smokes like a champ too. The draw is perfect, it's light, and smokes nice and cool.
I feel like MacArthur when I clench it too
I thought Walnut was on the do not use for pipes list, or is that certain types of walnut??
Getting my latakia fix in early. Magnum Opus in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg. The Mets beat the Cubs. Later tonight is Vin and the Dodgers playing the Braves.
Next time i work up some stone i will try and keep the dust separate from other dusts and jar some up for that reason
i would think it would work good but what do i know
On the last bowl of something, in a cob, will report more on this later
I have always had good smoke from walnut pipes
now when you get into some exotic woods - that is different story
You never know, you may just save a lot of pipes. Gotta be better than gunk or mud.
Nothings better than mud, if you got the right wrastlers in it, well maybe jello or some slippery stuff, but those wont fix a pipe, but they might cause one, but I am derailing myself
Sorry about the phrasing, butt I might have a55 on the brain
Smoked some H&H AK in a MM today at work with coffee. Still deciding on what to have now...
Working on some Club Blend in a Savinelli.
I will try that out and see if i can get something to work
Heading out to the porch with my Peterson X220 stuffed full of Odyssey, NO TEA, tonight its Guinness, I need it!
I conducted a bit of an experiment and mixed 3 parts Astley's 44 to 1 part Uhle's #00, and it came out really good. Only mixed a bowl's worth, because I really prefer my 44 by itself, but this reminds me of Reiner LGF without the touch of perique. Mixing two tobaccos this good was pretty much guaranteed to give a desirable result, and I am not disappointed. Smoking it in my Dunhill Shell LBS.
Been raining pretty hard here for the past hour or so. The plants are a wicked vivid green. I really don't prefer to live this far south, but it has its benefits, and the beautiful plant life is one of them. The ticks, not so much. But hey, you take the good with the bad.
GLP Kensington in the Sherlock Holmes Pete. Can't play, gotta mow the lawn.
Time for some
It's fiddinta rain; so, Imma sit on the porch and sip on some Peterson's Irish Oak in a bulldog. Oh and since it's Friday, I broke out some Shiner 97 Black Lager to go with it
