Didn't plan this morning out very well. I have a couple of pipes in the Bedroom where my wife is still sleeping, a couple in the guest room where a guest is sleeping, and the rest are downstairs where more company is sleeping. Hopefully, there is something in the garage.

    Morning, fellows.

I was just sitting outside breaking in a Santambrogio billiard with some Night Train. The whole time there was a gaggle of Cardinals performing their little mating rituals in the pecan tree. Pleasant entertainment. Coffee on the side.

The grass needs cuttin', the dog's need their spring bath, the garage needs some kind of organizing, and the wife wants me to accompany her into town to run some errands. NOT before I have a bowl of Exhausted Rooster in me DGE Nose Warmer and another cup of coffee!

It's Puppy watching today, so lots of pipe smoking and Tea drinking, so heading out with the four little buggers that are left to the outside playpen/crate with lots of Odyssey and a couple of pipes, maybe the Peterson X220 and the John Brumfit Rhodesian.

I probably sound like some company salesman when I write about it, but I obviously like it a lot, and was surprised at how much I liked it when I first tried it. Being a fan of EGR the actor, it'd sure been disappointing had I disliked it! Most of us have experienced getting a tobacco that we were dubious of, and discovering, "Hey, I really like this!" We've also seen the other side of that coin, and I'm sure glad that didn't happen to me on this. It's not a cheap tobacco, it's full of flavor, and is different from the other blends I've smoked. I wrote a review of it at Tobacco Reviews.com. I traded a sample to Ruffinogold, who also liked it very much. Maybe he'll chime in here?

Funny thought: like Southbound, I'm a big Humphrey Bogart fan. Had they made a pipe tobacco with his name on it, and it had been bad, that sure would have been terrible. I am reminded that P&W makes a blend that was smoked by Basil Rathbone, though they charge almost as much for it as some vendors do for FVF. I'd like to try that sometime, too.

I'd almost be willing to buy that pipe. It would take a long plunger to tamp the tobacco in. :ohyh: Enjoy the BBQ.

    Good Morning,
I took Bailey out for his walk with Uhle's #00 in a GBD New Standard Billiard with black coffee. Looks like it's gonna rain but otherwise very pleasant out.
I don't know how I'm gonna catch up!

    Happy Saturday Smoking

The P&W blend is terrific if you like a good amount of rum.
