Briar Patch Pirate Kake.
Good morning PSF!
I am impatiently waiting for my 2 last orders to get home: some PIF, Cumberland, Morning Bayou Flake, Burley Slice, Hal O' The Wynd, Marlin Flake, Dark Old Fired and...Granger!
Is it there yet?
In the meanwhile, I am enjoying

Happy puffing mateys!
Just finished the 2/3 bowl on AoTM I forgot I started last night in the Irving Cobb cob, raining like crazy out, another mug of black and strong............
Legends, in a bent and blasted freehand.
The funny thing is, I see everything he says....
Smoking Dunhill Royal Yacht in the Yves St. Claude Fantaisie, for my first smoke of the day. Happy hump day everyone! Almost forgot, congrats on the Harley WalkinStick!
Back on the King Charles Mixture on this overcast day, but it's still perfect as I'm in Yorkshire.
Some 5 y/o AJ's Vapers in the MM diplomat whilst getting the neighbors recycling and trash out then ours, another mug of strong and black.
Molly wouldn't let me sleep because she's hungry again. So while I'm up feeding her, I decided to finish an earlier smoke, which was Reverie smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin, and I forgot to post it. I also forgot to thank FishnBanjo for the trade sample, too. Hope he doesn't sic Levi on me for being a bad boy.
Guess Suzy's not hungry, which is a novelty. Well, she's getting plump enough. I guess laying on my feet is good enough for her.
Just finished my first smoke of the day, the usual for now Laurel Heights, drinking some darn strong coffee, Im down to my last ounce or so, its been an interesting tobacco, one of the things I look for in a tobacco is how rounded it is, no flavour gaps, and for a Virginia this really does have it all, its deep and rich with some very interesting complex flavours, the very small amount of Latakia isn't noticeable but adds balance to the blend the Virginias offer a delicate sweet grapfruit zestiness that I haven't come across in any other tobacco, a superb rich well rounded smoke.
Smoking 8 coins of MB Dark Twist in my new Sav 316 EX ...
Because of the design features of this pipe, the DT tastes a LOT richer than it usually does. The wide conical bowl is an engineering marvel.
I'm eventually going to work up to MB Latakia Blend in the 316. I fully expect that experience to be ... as you say ... awesome!
Morning coffee and the quiet of the house lets me hear the morning song of the birds that are crapping on my car
turkish shag in rock cob
You'd never be the same if I did, his love drool is nearly as bad as a St. Bernard's, although you might just get a hug instead!
Got up a little early this morning due to a strong line of thunderstorms moving in. Sat dish is out so I got a very rare weekday morning smoke in. SG SL in a bent MG with a good cup of coffee. Sitting out in the sunroom before sunrise with lightening popping around and losts of thunder and heavy rain. Nice smoke.
KC in a Royal Danish canadian
Suzy is just waiting until you go back to sleep. Then meow, meow, meow,MEOW.
Good Morning boys. KK, DGE Egg, coffee.
Great review, Brit. Seeing your constant mention of Laurel Heights made it go to the top of my list for GLP tobaccos to try. I'm also curious about Navigator since I like the Virginia/Dark-Fired combo.
One of the German pipe smokers on YT said he would smoke LH constantly if it weren't so outrageously expensive there. I'm guessing it's somewhere in the neighborhood of $25-$30 for a 2-oz tin. I think he even preferred it to the Motzek Strang, so it must be incredible.
But so is this modest MB Dark Twist that continues to smolder away in my Sav 316. This pipe is a monster, so the DT is liable to keep going for at least another 2 hours.
Uhle's #00 in the new Davorin Morta Bent Egg with black coffee.
Carter Hall, POY, black coffee. What, you were expecting something else?
Second pipe of the day is PS LTF in the MM CG as I do the Produce Row walkabout. Happy smoking everyone!
