Well, my back is officially in revolt today. It has decided that I can keep doing stupid moving-related things without it's help, but it will punctuate any such movements with periodic Operaterational System Shutdowns (involuntary loss of Central Nervous System via sciatica).

    So...
A bit of pain medication, a bit of stretching, and a day of rest.
Time to do laundry and go to the B&M (*both long overdue). Sounds better than moving anyway, and heck, I've still got a week!

Thanks to Ruffinogold, I am trying some of Jennifer's Easy Mild Aromatic(Jema, or maybe Mild should be Nice, so its Jena?), in my new to me Tinderbox Meer lined #170, not sure on the shape, maybe a bent bulldog or rhodesian, hmmm, oh and a big mug of coffee :thu2:

Infusion is done, long today as they changed vendors for the ivIG so had 4 bottles to infuse plus the bag of saline. Woozy as all get out but a mug of Bengal Spice Tea and maybe some Scotch Flake since there is some left over to fold in a pipe and the Chubby AEROBilliard Morta has volunteered its service............ doing the Frankenstein walk out the door.............

Had more Reiner LGF if my DG royalton last night after softball. Burned well but I think I need to rub it out instead of fold. It burns more consistently and easier. Really love this blend. Need to order a few tins to cellar while I work down the rest of the samples I have.

Getting a late start to my smoking day, and will have other things to do that will limit my chances to smoke this afternoon, darn it. I am smoking Dunbar in a medium bend 1983 Ascorti New Dear KS before going out again. Pirates are leading the Cubs 4-0 in the 4th.

Not a chance that I can "like" a post that ends as that one does.

Have you seen the odd stat for my Cubs? 11.5 down, with a run differential of only -5?

Wouldn't it be better if Chicago just glued both teams together, so the whole city could rally around them for more success

    Hey Stravinsky.
That is interesting. And my Nats are 24-23 with a run differential of -26! Odd game isn't it? :)

So you guys are winning most of the close ones, and getting your lunch eaten when you lose?

Exactly. Its very frustrating. For instance they'll win 2-1 one day and then loose 10-2 the next. To be honest, aside from their starting pitching (Strasburg, Gio Gonzalez, Jordan Zimmermann, all 3 are great pitchers) their offense and fielding have been a letdown.

Packing up some SWRA and having another cup of coffee.

THIS BABY SMOKES LIKE A DREAM!

Already the coolest pipe I have. I love how it stays really cool and you get only tobacco flavor all the way down. Whereas with a briar pipe, you feel the heat and get that hint of warmed wood towards the middle-end of the pipe. Very neat. You guys that have a rock cob, would you liken this to a meerschaum pipe? I've not bought a meer yet, but it's on my PAD list for future purchase. #2015 just sings in this guy. Going to be smoking LNF in it next.
