Living in a house built in 1860 where very little is level I can't imagine they were any better at it in 1792, plus they didn't even know what an OTC was.

Hey, some room notes are better than others.
Maybe they drain all the water off, the trout make their own moisture
Don't bother, it burns wet and if you try to dry it so it will light you'll get severe tongue burn.
Sometimes the bowl clogs up on a scale
