Enjoying Uhle's "Blend 114" in my Barling's Make Apple, with the nomenclature of "J.J. Fox & Co., London," the tobacco shop on St. James where Churchill bought his cigars for close to 50 years. I visited that shop a few years ago. All I remember was a rather frumpy shop with the cheapest Cuban cigar at $40 some dollars. The web site today shows an interior that must have been freshened up since I last visited.

    Dear Escudo,
I regret to inform you that I have been cheating on you with Dunbar. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me and still allow me to have friends with benefits privileges. :byg:

    Good evening all.
SG Black XX in an unbranded Meer. I have been loving this stuff. :hbang:

First time I have had a free night in about 2 weeks so it is good to sit and relax. I hope all is well.

That shot of Einstein is so much more interesting than the usual glamor shots you see of him.

While waiting on dinner, I'm smoking Magnum Opus in a 1990s smooth Peterson Captain Pete XL80 bulldog. Good tobacco and good pipe. Ice water chilled to the proper temperature. Watching the Braves leading the Mets 2-1 in the first inning. Freddie Freeman hit a monster homer for the Braves. Orioles are beating Toronto 6-1 in the second.

I've been eyeballing 2 different models the Lithos YYY silver line 3 & the egea 2010 Sl8 sterling bent saddle bit rusticated. Big, chunky, ham handed type of pipes, right up my alley~ Thinking I can have one of the 2 by october~

Trying to decided between the nic-heavy but somewhat bitey Granger, and the sweet but mild SWRA....
My mouth is still angry from last night, so I'll give it a break and enjoy some SWRA.

Time to make some iced coffee as well.
Nats trailing the Philthies Phillies 1-0 in the 3rd inning. Come on Nats. Score a run every now and then.

Still working on the XX. It is like smoking extra dark chocolate. :puffy:

I had an idea. Popped a fresh tin of Orlik and I am mixing up 1/2 Orlik Golden Sliced and 1/2 XX Kendal Twist. "Double Black and Tan" for the next go round.

I know they got good value for Michael Morse, but some times I've wondered if the Nats wish they still had him. And Espinosa's been playing with a broken wrist. Hhhmmm.... I wonder if any MLB players are pipe smokers? Manager Sparky Anderson was.

Yeah there's some grumbling in Nats town about missing Morse's bat. With LaRoche at first there was really no where to put him.
But definitely they could use another bat in the lineup. Werth isn't expected back for another week or so.
Espinosa was getting a lot of hate, with the fans not knowing about the wrist contributing to his lack of production. He's a very good fielder though.

Smoking SWRA in a cob while sipping some coffee.

Jim I wasn't aware Sparky was a pipe smoker. That's pretty cool. I think Jim Leyland is a cigarette smoker.
