A couple of derogatory sports writers call Leyland "The Black Lung."
(trying to) smoke SG BBF in a cob. "Fold and Pack" didn't so much work out. Will try the 'rub' method in nxt bowl. When it's lit, it's great!
Anglers Dream in a Golden duke/sweet tea.
I'm kicking the long weekend off right, fellows. Three bowls already.
Kickin' Chicken in a Brebbia Jumbo pot.
Finishing up some Plumcake in a Bjarne ...
I meant to do AoTM, but my Friday bowl of Plumcake was already underway before remembering.
Maybe I need some encouragement. Frankly, my 8 oz. tin of Anni Kake smells a bit like my old junior high school gym bag. Should I let the Anni Kake air out until it mellows a bit? Or is that gamey edge a key part of the smoking enjoyment?
I love perique, but maybe I'm not a real perique hound like some of the rest of you. I love it best when it adds depth to a blend, but you can barely taste it beyond that slight note of vinegar or stewed fruit. LNF and LBF are perfect examples of that, IMHO.
Old Treachery in the Sav 316EX. THERE'S the perique.
Kinda quiet here tonight.......
casino sent free slot play tickets but we know how that ends up
so i guess it is a boring night at home
I am smoking another bowl of 7seas to make myself feel better - coffee on the side
Get out your biggest rock cob and pop in a movie!
Edgeworth Ready-Rubbed in a RockCob with a swiiirly Forever Stem (which you can't see in this pic):
That blend is liable to be a bit patchy until it's had time to marry. I did an 80/20 after-market blend of MB Va. No. 1 and Solent, and it took 8 weeks to fully integrate. But once it did, it was a reasonably good substitute for Larsen Selected Blend No. 20. Which is impossible to get here in the US.
One reason I sprang for the 5 pound bag of Va. No. 1 is that it's an ideal base for after-market blending experiments. Very high quality stuff IMHO. Mixed with Irish Flake it's a superb Va/Dark-Fired combo. Satisfies my craving for St Bruno, even though it lacks the sauce.
LNF in a DH ...
And good choice on the Sav 316 EX. Sounds like the ideal pipe for that blend.
Sure, Rub it in,
Kendal Kentucky in the RockCob. Put 120 miles on the Harley today. Took a pretty badass picture while I was riding, too. The boss lady didn't think it was so cool.
Black Lung in a DGE in a trunk heater poker. Thanks dBear.
biggest Rock Cob and a little beer
Sure cuts down on those beer rental return trips
I'd get tennis elbow drinking those things.
a 6pack lasts me all week long
along with my mini pipe - tobacco lasts forever !
Now you need espresso beer
Some tobacco's just seem like they last forever
I hope it's light beer! Wouldn't want you to overdo it.
Still on my Cerberus kick. Just had a great smoke in my recently airway-enlarged Peterson Donegal bulldog.
