Well I made down with lots of pain and I got one of my canes and fed the lump and let it out. Levi came back and I smoked some AoTM in the MM Diplomat and grabbed the Java and hobbled to the SL500 then broke the speed limit the whole time not taking any chance of stalling seems the Italian tuneup worked especially after running the interstate yesterday. At the little beach in much pain deciding if I try the restaurant or sit here for a bit.

Made it home and took the appropriate meds along with my morning group, need to rustle up my knee brace as getting anywhere w/o a cane is futile, damn Borg promised me they'd help me out! Finished the MM Diplomat and packed the Irving Cobb cob with AoTM just as vintage (young and original cut) came on with Angel of the morning. Her voice has matured very well and still has a wonderful lilt in her songs the innocence and rawness it once had is gone but I love listening to her from both ERA's.

Knee brace in place, comfort level is much better but cane is a constant companion, made the rub for tomorrow's meal and prepped a 4 lb St Louis Rib and got it set in the refrigerator tightly wrapped. Hope to have fresh sweet corn, roasted yams and maybe some mustard greens or a nice spinach salad on the side, Mmm ribs! :drly: Just had another 1/2 bowl of AoTM in the Irving Cobb and more Java.............

    Good Morning,
I'm lighting up some Mac Baren's Navy Flake from '78 in a Comoy's Golden Saddlebit Billiard with black coffee for the ride in this rainy Saturday morning.

    Happy Smoking,

Can't I have to go see Little Bull to get some Ceremonial Tobacco so I can smoke this lovely creation of yours on Memorial Day to honor all those that have gone from amongst us especially brethren of the pipe. Then I will rest.............

I'm wearing jeans this morning, because it's 50°. For all of you northerners, that's unseasonably cool in MS.

    What the hell am I
    doing up this early
    on a Saturday???
    CH in a Falcon.
    Headed to the beach
    (Coco) in a few hours.
    Mornin lads!

    @dbear- sounds as if
    you have an obstruction
in the centre tube of your
bent Falcon. If you can freely
    blow through the stem
without the bowl on it, then
    we've got another problem.

Good Morning Ladies and Gents! Happy Memorial Day. Going to smoke some SG SL in my bent Pete Donegal Rocky with some good Cracker Barrel brand coffee. Going to honor my second cousin Horace who died defending this great nation. He was from Abbeville,La. and entered the service here in Texas. He died on Leyte Island Philippines and is interred at the American Cementery in Manila. Hope everyone in the community has a great long weekend. [IMG]

I also noticed that with my new Sav. Prior to loading the first bowl, I wet my index finger and wiped out the tobacco chamber. Immediately there was a detectable but subtle chocolate aroma. And the first bowl smoked like a dream, nothing harsh or resinous. Instead it was very creamy.

This must be some sort of new pre-carb technology that's sweeping the industry. Whatever it is, I like it! A brilliant solution to an age-old problem.

When you go to put AoTM together mate let the Plum Cake get to where you want it to be but make sure the Anni Kake sits about longer. I generally carry 3 days worth of Plum Cake in a pouch and an equal amount of Anni Kake in a pouch with no lining this has everything as it should be at all times, I load my pouches in the evening so they are smoke ready when I arise. AJ's Vapers and Kendal Plug make excellent toppings to both Plum Cake and Anni Kake. Oh and I thought your DoTN posting was brilliant!
