Now if that tobacco could be put in the Mayor and Mrs Mayor's Touched by God Pipes you'd have something, Hello again, the second sleep of the night lasted longer than the first but not much! More coffee required and finished off my AoTM in the Tsuge for breakfast.

Rough sleeping night. Up early and stated the day with Irish Oak, finishing the tin. Second pipe of the day was filled with Sugar Barrel. Planning many pipes today!

Some of my Hoover Cannister in an H. Gyer full bent basket pipe. Harry was a tobacconist in Brooklyn, N.Y., I bought the pipe in 1968!

    Good morning, fellows.

I'm slowly working my way through the samples I ordered from Chief Catoonah. This morning it's Commodore Flake in a Tanzanian meer. I need to smoke a few more bowls to be certain, but I think this one will replace Lancer Slices for me. Very well done Lat blend.

McC Anniversary 2002 from FlatbushPaul in a Guildhall. I also had that same blend in the same pipe yesterday on the way to the dump yesterday. I'm liking this blend!

Stepping out to a bowl of Carter Hall in my DGE Nosewarmer. CH has been around since 1856 so I believe some of our Union and Confererate soilders may have had a bowl or two of this tobacco in thier clay pipes, briars, and cobbs. Sweet smokin' and happy grillin' to y'all. [IMG]

Getting ready for walkabout, the Kamado is fired up and steady at 225F and 4 lbs of St Louis Ribs all rubbed up and set 48 hours now in the smoker. Tsuge has been through 3 smokes so it will get a rest, probably bring the AEROBilliard instead with Directors Cut.

That Commodore Flake was so tasty I did something I never do with Lat blends. I went back for another bowl. This time in an Armellini cutty/zulu.

Dick Silverman of Chief Catoonah's is a terrific blender. If you like Latakia you may want to try his Kent Heritage Mixture. He sent me a sample and it is terrific.
