Smoking a blend that Alan Dye sent me (and blended) in a Guildhall billiard. I'm half a bowl in and I like it so far.

Great idea. I'll join you on that one, FnB.

And remember that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has a clause permitting the use of deadly force against anyone or anything that might disturb That Condor Moment.

    LNF in a Lovat ...

The last bowl of GLP Westminster in my big avatar pipe. This pipe brings out the best in lots of tobaccos and Westminster is tops in this. Cakeanddottle said in a long list of reviews of Latakia blends, that Westminster is a benchmark blend. It may well be. I like others as well as I like this and it may be at the top of my list but so are a few others, with different variations. Westminster has something special for me, in that there is a deep rich taste that dosen't coat the tongue . It's somewhere in the middle of all the other tastes that are there. Reminds me a lot of the taste that carries over from the '70's blends. Good stuff!

Just finished a bowl of Butternut Burley in a Wessex lovat with my dad by the firepit reminiscing about our days at sea. Man I miss the smell of the sea after a storm.

OK. I'd better get back to reading about the Battle of Gudalcanal before lights out. I want to find out who wins this thing.

Happy remainder of the holiday everyone!

Magnum Opus in my US Falcon Full Bent #6. With 1858remington's help I now have a pipe stem with no air leak and a bowl that draws well.

Went and set out on the front stoop with a bowl of Pirate Kake in the Stanwell Freehand Prestige, made in Denmark #8.
Now i'm puffing on a bowl of Kickin Chicken in an old MarxMan Chimney pipe. I'm just not going to be able to wait until October for this to be released!

There were no squirrels out tonight, so I am helping myself to some Walnut, and stuffing it in the Tinderbox meer-lined Rhotographer, I wonder if I can wear this pipe out:msty:
