Now, I'm smoking Old Dark Fired in a 1984 black sandblasted straight Dunhill Shell 4103 Billiard. Getting ready to go back to work.

You can read a lot about it at Tobacco Reviews, I won't go through the litany of why everyone loves it.

FVF is a straight up flue-cured Virginia flake. I would put it strength at medium. If you like your tobacco to taste like tobacco, you'll like FVF.

    I know I do.

Well that was the mildest stuff I ever smoked, had it not been smoke kept coming out I would have thought I had an empty pipe. I personally feel it's too mild for me but would be a great tobacco for someone who has never smoked and wished to take up a pipe, now reloaded the Boswell Churchwarden with Troost Special Cavendish and a double Cuban Espresso on the side. :th1:

Finishing "A Major Project" at work today/tomorrow. Probably not much smoking tonight. Or chatting. I'll be here late.

    Enjoy the day!

I've been wanting to pick up a couple tins of that ABF for a while now. There's definitely nothing wrong with Carter Hall. :)

It had been out for a couple months, I had it on the alerts...it's what triggered my last buy. Well, that plus Astley's #44.

Yeah ABF is great stuff indeed. Have you tried it out before?
I could never afford to buy it regularly, but it was very cool getting a sample from a PSF friend. PSF folk are great people :) I love this forum.
In fact I'm packing another cob with ABF.

I'll eventually get around to trying #00. Sounds like another good Burley.

Good afternoon. Astley's 44 in a '62 Dunhill Shell LBS.

Warm out today. 86˚F (30˚C), 42%RH, south winds at 13 mph gusting to 20 mph. Won't be long before we break into the 90's.

Not a chance that I'll look it up via Google after the other ones that you posted a while back. Lunting is a cheerful word. A lunting we will go, a lunting we will go, hi ho the dairy-o, a lunting we will go. A lunting we will go, a lunting we will go, we'll catch a fox and put him in a box, and then we'll let him go!. Nice song to sing as I pick a pipe, and pack it as I prepare to go outside on a sunny morning. Lunting was posted here at PSF along with the definition. I'm satisfied with that source for the definition.

I'm not going to go lunting right now since it's raining datsun cogs. I'll just sit here with my Sasquatch made Canadian full of Irish Flake and ponder just how rude some people can be as the rain makes the most beautiful percussive symphony on the roof over my head. 12C(54F)H89%
