Now that Vin Scully's done his three innings on radio, m'lady and I - and the kittens - are going to watch a PBS documentary about The Ghost Army. This outfit specialized in camouflage to fool the Germany military in World War Two. Two friends of mine who were comic book artists were in this patrol (along with famous fashion designer Bill Blass), and one of them, the late Vic Dowd, was interviewed for this documentary. I'll be smoking Virginia Spice in a big 2002 black sandblast straight paneled D.R. Ardor Urano Fatta A Mano.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe FVF is steam pressed, not flue-cured and BBF is cold pressed, just saying... :whis:

Thanks to Fishnbanjo, I'm now smoking Anniversary Kake in a 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49. Ice water for my drink. Listening to MLB talk on the XM and reading box scores.

Edit: The Pirates beat the Tigers 1-0 in 11. Great game.

MB Mixture in a Falcon. Mayor's hypothesis about SWRA seems to be true. Neighbor wants to come back and have drinks with me when my back is better! Food she brought was outstanding as well.:thu:

I'm now smoking Angler's Dream in a 2013 medium bend Spillproof corndog cob. More ice water chilled to the proper temperature. And talking against my feeble will to some guy who thinks he's George C. Scott with a pipe and deerstalker.

Starting the day as I mean to go on with a large vat's-worth of Commonwealth Mixture in the Falcon accompanied by bucketload of rather stiff coffee. Fingers crossed I might wake up in a couple of days.

Late night smoke: Kendal Kentucky in a Spillcob. I know it's blasphemy, but this isn't my favorite G&H blends. I much prefer the VA-based ones, such as Best Brown #2. The Kentucky in this one seems to be covered up by the Lake sauce just a tad too much. Still damn good stuff though.

About time for me to get some rest. Good night, folks.

Looks like I'm up for the day now. Trying to decide if I'm gonna have a pipe and caffeine, or just caffeine right now. My life is full of monumental decisions like this.

Edit: BTW, Office Space is excellent on the twelfth viewing.
