Funny day today. Went trout fishing & got a few. Then had a tire blowout on the way back. Then packed for a hunting trip - leaving very early tomorrow. Then had a BBQ. Eventful I guess.

Now it's BBF in a little Dunnie bulldog.

Yes, it was renamed due to new labeling laws for tobacco but I don't really taste any vanilla like a vanilla blend, just a very mild sweetness.

It's still the same, JR Cigars still lists it as Ultra Light on their site, if you order it you will get Mixture Original, pipes magazine did a write up about this change some time ago too.

Interesting overview of the revamped Borkum Riff: http://pipesmagazine.com/blog/pipe-tobacco-reviews/smooth-sailing-with-borkum-riff/

Still slowly puffing ABF in my cob and still drinking coffee.

I havn't really been smoking lately, far too stressed out on what was a rather rediculous twelve month job search. I FINALLY found something, and despite the fact that its second shift, doesn't pay all that well, and is guaranteed overtime plus working weekends, I HAVE A JOB!

Celebratory smoke in my Roma Select with some Hobbit's Weed.

Everybody let me sleep in since I was up so late. I'm starting off my smoking day with the current Three Nuns tinned version in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded. Simply Lemonade is my drink. I'm listening to the MLB talk on the XM, and planning the day ahead of me.

Well that was sublime, and duty calls for an appropriate response.

Vielen Dank! :toast:

    Hope I didn't butcher that.
