Yea, laugh it up, brother. I've got you to thank for making me see the light on Germain's too. Not sure the boss lady appreciates it quite as much though :byg:

Had some Kendal Dark this morning, since then a few cigars - most recently about two hours ago I had a Parodi while driving on the outerbelt on the way to the parents' house...it shouldn't have been a long enough ride for that, but hey, rush hour with rain, construction and accidents.

On the way home I stopped at THE place to buy General Snus. Swedish Match must be making a concerted effort to promote Swedish snus in the American market - they were selling cans of 24 portions for 99 cents over winter break. I stopped for a can as a special treat and the sale was still on, so I emptied their cooler of wintergreen, and am enjoying it now. It must be selling at least well enough to keep it going at that price, though, because they had a few sleeves next to the cooler of mint and such to be restocked. I'll probably get a few more cans on my way home. I don't like to take too much snus, but I can't get it back in Indiana so it's a special treat :)

That was so good, I'm doing it again. I'm really loving this Rum Flake. Smoking it in my DGE poker nosewarmer this time. It's got a Penzance ghost that I almost wish wouldn't leave. Definitely interesting with the rum flake. Drinking a Dundee pale bock lager in an almost frozen pint glass. The boss lady is making "Drunken pork chops" and homemade mashed potatoes with yeast rolls. This should be an awesome Friday night.

Well the slices of Brown Bogie are loaded in the Boswell Churchwarden and the Twining's Tea in the Pusser's Rum Mug and I are heading out to enjoy the evening sky.

Man! The power of the taste of that DF just blew my socks off and curled my toes! Do you let yours dry out very much and if anything do you add any other tobacco to tone it down some?

Evening, folks. Irish Oak in a Dunhill Shell LBS. Enough fooling around, this pipe needs to be properly broken in. It will be smoked mercilessly until it is sufficiently cakified, or until it explodes, whichever comes first.

Nice weather persists here. It's almost too good to be true. Watch us have three straight months of 103˚F now that I've said that. Currently, though, it's 72˚F (22˚C), 57%RH, south winds at 12 mph. For early-mid May, I'll take it. And, get this, a high of 69˚F Sunday, and sunny skies.

Sometimes I like DFS straight, but mostly I do indeed mix it with other tobaks. DFS mixed 50/50 with Brown Flake Scented makes for a good flavour profile imo. DFS can be toned down with any lighter tobacco such as Glengarry Flake or Best Brown. My all time, tippy top favourite is Bosun Cut Plug blended with BFS in about a 50/50 ratio. Makes for an excellent morning bowl.
And yes, I prefer all my tobaccos on the dry side.

Dinner's cooking and while I waiting, I'm smoking Best Brown #2 in a 2013 bent MM Missouri Pride Legend, and listening to the Blue Jays-Red Sox game. Vin and the Dodgers are later tonight. Drinking a bottle of Nesbitt's Orange soda.
