Now smoking the current Three Nuns tinned version in a medium bent straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera. I'm smoking a smaller pipe than JPBerg is.

Yeah so capt black original got me home from work and then some in a Pete. I stopped at the b&m on the way home and picked up some royal and some gold to revisit. The weird thing is the description on the package is a misprint. They put the white description on it. Whacky.

What's the Troost like? I don't recall ever seeing it in a shop. Looked it up and don't recognize any of the packages shown.

    It's this stuff:

It's a sweet cavendish. Kinda broken flake cut like Mac Baren blends are. People seem to describe a caramel/butterscotch note with a bit of anise. It's not overly complex but sweet and a little different than their special cavendish. You can get it here:

Three Friars in a 1979 brown grain etched Charatan's Make medium bend calabash shape 483DC. A good tobacco, a good pipe... a good reason to be happy.

A cob with CBW and a weber apple with germain's plum cake simultaneously. It's kinda tricky keeping them both lit.
