Rich Gottlieb's Prairie Wind in a DGE spool. I like this stuff, but it's puzzling. There's some kind of casing to it, which I find quite pleasant but cannot quite name. I know OC smokes this one a lot; what say you, OC?

Reading some Hart Crane poetry now. Heady stuff, to be sure. It's hard to say whether I like his poetry or not, but it makes you work to find the thrust of it, that much I know. He mentions Floral Park, Flatbush, which of course makes me think of our friend Paul.

Half way through a bowl of Dark Flake Unscented in a smooth briar calabash shape 1984 Fero Danese made in Italy, and all the way finished drinking all the ice tea in the house. Luckily, I have Simply Lemonade to see me through until coffee time.

This stuff is reportedly amazing. I was gonna order some of this but it appears to be sold out everywhere except Cupojoes, and I'm not about to spend ~30$ to ship one tin to my house.

I was cruising around up in the DelMarVa this past week and stopped in one of my fav B&M's up that way...Gary Griffith's of Emilio Cigar fame in Delaware. Went in to grab a few stogies but they were just beginning to display some pipe tobacco. I grabbed a tin of this and a few more...Dunhill EMP and some NightCap, some of Peterson's Hyde Park. I shoulda hoarded a few more tins of this Holiday 2012 and if the locals don't get busy, I'll be back next week and their options will get skinnier.

Loaded the MM Legend with a bulk the local B&M calls Zesty. Either age took the zest out or my tastes have changed from when I bought it in August.

This has been a Hamborger Veermaster weekend for me, and glad of it. I smoked a bowl yesterday, while at our 2nd trip to Wurstfest. Burned it in my Nate King nosewarmer poker.

Today I broke out the huge Wiley freehand and loaded a really fat bowl of HV for an hour plus smoke. It was super tasty! :bing:
