Had some Dark Flake in the Yellobole Dublin on the ride home from a get together.

Now some Toasted Cherry on the couch before bed.

How do you like OD? That was the first Latakia blend I ever had, and while I've had better since, memories of it still brings chills up my spine :bing:

I'm enjoying some Ambassador mixed with my own cigar leaf (from a Trinidad stub) in a Baronet Bruyere 315 EX.

Shape seems to me to be like a stubby prince... is that called a banker?

I rarely smoke it by itself, mostly cradled with Irish Flake. There are those odd times when it's uniqueness is exactly what I want and a bowl or two of straight Old Dublin makes me happy that I have it.
I've gotten away from trying to grade tobaccos and simply decide if I like them or not.

Yes, and it's kind of hard to see the shape in that picture. I plan on giving that pipe its own thread someday, so you'll get to see more of it sometime I'm sure. :) But here's a link to a banker shape from Invicta that I want to buy if no one else gets it first: http://www.invictabriars.com/bigpics/Cl/Banker-W-48g-1.7oz-L-150mm-5.9inch-Bowl-Dia-23mm-%a3-35.png .

Here's an eBay listing that came up on a Google image search, and I think it's a very nice rendition: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHARATANS-M...=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 .

It seems to be a rather obscure English shape, and I really, really love it. I'm thinking I'd like to start collecting them. It sits nicely in the hand, and because of the flat, wide bottom, it also sits flat on any surface. One difference is most bankers seem to have an oval shank and saddle stem.

Just quit work early tonight to relax a little and am smoking the current Three Nuns tinned version in a 2003 smooth full bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root.

Three Friars in a MM Pony Express cob. Might smoke it again when the bowl is finished, something I very seldom do with a pipe.
