    Dunhill Flake in a Peterson.

50˚F and rainy here, which is alright by me. Big front blowing through, supposed to have a freeze tonight, finally. We've had a weird autumn here. Stayed hot till mid-October, then still stayed pretty warm, and it's just now getting cool outside consistently, and even now we just had a high of 74˚F the other day! This place is nuts, man. Whatever. As long as the temperature trend continues downward.

Meanwhile, in Alberta, I'm sure OC is sitting in three feet of snow by now. :D

Nope. Just came in from a nice walk with Weybridge in a DGE cob. +7C(45F). Snow is melting. The weather can, and does change here in a heartbeat.

Hello. This morning I started with rum toddy in my cheap, but stalwart merschaum, then a little mellow mallard in the same pipe. Tonight it was black house in the same pipe (black house would have been better in my saucer with a wide bore, rather than in the narrow deep meerschaum I think). Sorry no pictures yet...I'm still in the learning process when it comes to posting them.

I woke up yesterday a little under the weather, but smoked one bowl. Today, it's very clear I have a sinus infection or something. So today I'm smoking....Nothing....big fat nothing....

For the first time in my life probably since I started smoking at, oh 17 years old or something, I am going to try to shorten the recovery time for an illness by avoiding smoking for a few days. Been off the hooch for a good while, too, so I might be surprised at how fast I get over this (here's hoping anyway)

But I'm not avoiding tobacco entirely. For now, it's snus to get me through it. No snuff because my nose already feels like that bathtub in Ghostbusters II....and no smoking because my throat is irritated already and I tend to "snork" constantly.

Oh well. Hopefully I can get a smoke in before the week is over :(
