Loaded up the tall MM General with H&H Beverwyck, as the dog watched with that combination look of devotion, hope, and faith ... faith that me getting dressed, putting on shoes, and loading up a pipe would result in him walking me around the park perimeter on the leash. So, I did. He tends to bother the cats less in the evening if he gets his leash time in the park. Beverwyck in a cob seems like the perfect dog-walking combo for me, as I have not needed to relight it while out - just a couple tamps to keep it smoking.

Before lunch I smoked some of the last of a tin of Magnum Opus in a Kaywoodie Saxon. I've noticed that under both the Cerberus and smaller Magnum Opus labels is the Cornell and Diehl label which seems to be coded for the fine Tobacco "Exotique"? [IMG]

I loaded up my clay dog with some W.O. Larsens curly flake for my drive to work this evening. Then topped it off with some GAF for my first external patrol. ( you can tell I'm trying to finish both tins)

Unfortunately the clay doggie didn't survive the patrol, the stem snapped neatly in two when I tapped it off my hand to empty before going back inside.

DFs in a Wally Frank billiard. I said yesterday that I thought the unscented was a little better, but I sure would hate to live off the difference.

Larry's Blend in a Custom-Bilt. Note to self. Please stop buying pipes. I find myself taking more time than necessary to choose a pipe to smoke. My girlfriend is starting to think I'm crazy. 20mins starring at pipes and another 15 opening jars and sticking my nose in them.
