Probably will smoke my last bit of Penzance in a BC Rhodesian later, I can get it anytime I want but, SOTE is cheaper.

The only leaf I might like better than Hamborger Veermaster? It's one that is also more difficult to find than HV- Germain's Best Brown Flake. If I could find 5 lbs, I'd buy it! I decided to crack open 1 of 2 predacious tins I own for the holidays. I'm smoking a bowl now in my Nate King poker. Geesh it's good!
The last of my tin of W.O.Larsen 32 in my Falcon. earlier I had some GAF in my re glued Clay doggie
Condor RR in a cob
Petersons Irish Whiskey in a marxman pot
Dorchester in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051.
I think you mean Brown Flake, and if that's what you're talking about, I agree wholeheartedly. That's a fantastic tobacco. I only own a tin because of a generous fellow PSF'er, but it is fantastic stuff.
Tilbury in a Blakemar on this beautiful afternoon, getting some work done outdoors because it's too nice out to be sitting inside.
Hello. This morning I took my wife to a local antique store and while there, bought this little "red star" for $5.
It is not pefect (slight warp in the tenon which I may or may not care enough about to adjust) Other than that, the stem was falling out loose, but I was able to do the trick with the blunt side of an oversized drill bit in the preheated stem, then cold water, etc. which worked well (possibly too well, as it may be in there to stay.) I'm smoking it now with some rum-laced over the counter, my obligatory blend I buy to justify my rubber necking at our tobaccoshop.
If anyone knows the history of red star, it woukld be fun to know
My third bowl of Dark Flake today in the Oscar Dry Dublin. I had planned to try a Dark Birdseye/ STM parfait today. Meh...maybe tomorrow.
Don't mess with a good thing.

Anniversary Kake in a 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49.
Wifey started some Christmas shopping so I put together a little list for her to gather (more on the way but she isn't aware yet muhaahhahhaha). She ordered:
2 tins GAF
8oz. Anni Kake
8oz. Classic Burley Kake
Yes gents, it is still in stock (@ P&C in bulk anyway).
JPBerg would be the only one with reliable knowledge of anything that has a Red Star on it.
Last pipe full of Irish Flake outside the airport. After I'm finished and empty out the pipe I think stuffing the pipe back in my face and walking through the airport will be fitting the mood I'm in.
Smoker's Haven 20th Anniversary in the Kapet 03. First taste of the stuff, it was a free sample from yesterday. This is very nice tobacco!
