Finished up a cobful of the LJ Heart Burley now. Then hubby woke up from his nap, so I brought out all the new tins and told him he needs to help me pick which one to open (otherwise I'd open them all!). He selected McClelland Virginia Woods ... beautiful tin note upon popping the top. I loaded up the Dr Grabow Savoy for him (it's only had VA and VaPers in it) and for me I loaded up my new-to-me Randy Wiley bent Rhodesian with the lovely grain hubby got me.

Filled the Eriksen sitter with Boswell's Raspberry Cream after a small supper. Later this evening it will be Royal Cajun Dark in the Biltmore.

I got off work a little early today and like a little boy on Christmas morning, i could not wait to get home and see if the UPS man had delivered my package, of course he had not. So in perfect, crazy ex style, I proceeded to sit on my porch, so I could see him coming a mile down the road. As soon as i saw that familiar big brown box shape turn onto my road, my heartbeat picked up, and i dont think my feet touched the ground from my porch to the end of my driveway. I then proceeded to stop the truck and driver, hijack style, to get my package. I had the tin of ABF opened and my trusty flake bowl loaded up before he even backed out of the driveway. Ahhhhh, satisfaction. You gotta enjoy the little things (50 gram tins) and on occasion, the big things (12 - 14 oz tubs). On this Thanksgiving I am thankful for the many blessings in my life that allow me to do so. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

    Oh, ABF in the churchwarden

MacB GE in the Tinsky Natural Bent Apple. It's been a while since my last bowl of GE. Too long, in fact.

It was fantastic. Filing that BST calabash to the rim is a serious time commitment. 2+ hours today. The Russians beat the pirates but that ain't no surprise.
