The work is all done, the wife and cats are sleeping, and there's just enough coffee left in the cup to enjoy as I do some reading with a bowl of Amphora Red in a 1983 Ben Wade Duo 65 Smooth Poker, which be my final smoke of the night/morning.

    Hi Dondi,
I just fully rub it out & pack lighter than normal. I have tried fold & stuff with 1792 but not with much success.

    Happy Thanksgiving,

As luck would have it, came down with a bugger of a sinus thingy yesterday. I'll get around to smoking something today, not sure what or when.

Starting the day with CH in a cob with coffee. Bird is in the oven along with dressing, corn casserole, sweet potato casserole, and all the trimmings are getting ready; greens, peas, deviled eggs, etc. Brother and his family are coming to eat and spend the day, so I will be smoking a Boswell aro of some sort. God is good.

Beautiful day in North Florida today. Currently 45f, bright and sunny. It will be in the mid 70's by afternoon.

I started the day with thanks to the Lord for allowing the many blessing we enjoy. Also made a special prayer again for Johnny Dingo and his wife.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Any thoughts on that tobacco would be appreciated. I smoked John Cotton for a number of years until it became unavailable.

Hyde Park in a Peterson Canadian. The description of this tobacco mentions "rum and maple sugars", but they're very light additions. I don't notice the rum at all and the sugars are more like the caramelized sugar on a creme brule than maple. Snowing -14C(7F)H90%. Hot illy coffee out of the press warming me up after a short walk.

Last mug of coffee from yesterday's pot (translation: strong) with C&D Red Odessa in the estate Wally Frank, because in my eagerness to pop open new tins last night I forgot to clean the JM sig.
