Slept in on this beautiful Thanksgiving day (good holiday to everyone!) and packed the Biltmore with a parfait of Christmas Cookie and Raspberry Cream. As we get closer to turkey time, I'll wet the appetite with Royal Cajun Dark.

AM Pipe in the cheapo Sav big billiard. This stuff is pretty nice, really is a good morning smoke.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Kendal's Kentucky in the DrG "Westbrook" billiard.
Yep, after several varied bowls the Condor ghost remains in this briar.

Earlier this morning, I smoked Three Friars in a 1998 smooth full bend Parker of London 489. Right now, it's Amphora Red in a Sasieni 4 Dot Ruff Root Dark 4 Dublin. I'll post again before I leave to celebrate Thanksgiving with my sister and her family, but let me wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving now. It may be true you can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant ( 'ceptin' Alice), but don't be a turkey, or you may end up on the Group W dinner table! :)

I hope everyone has a dandy Thanksgiving. We are headed south to the Peoples Republic of Eugene today. My son is cooking and my daughter in law is herding kids. They had twins not long ago and both figured out within a day or two of each other how to get from point A to point B. Mom and dad have been...busy. ;)

Old Dublin in a bent Mastro and coffee on the side.

First bowl of Esoterica Tilbury in a Peterson Canadian. Tilbury has got to be one of the easiest loading and smoking tobaccos I've had in a while.
Right out of the can, just a nice easy no nonsense smoke. Thanks to whoever mentioned it here and noted that he thought it was quite under-rated. Catching up on the http://www.welovemotogeo.com/ travels as they've left Canada and gone to the UK and now in to France. Some great photos and stories. Perfect read while enjoying a pipe inside, while it's quite nasty outside.

Boswell's Bear Blend in a Sav Treve and a cold Presidente beer before chowing down. Even though the BB is an Va based aro, it has a light touch of Latakia. Very nice smoke.

Picked up a couple of '00 tins of this stuff.
I have only smoked a couple of bowls of it (in this Upshall), and am giving it another go, but it's just sort of "flat" to my palette. Nothing wrong with it, just want a bit more. Anyone have some "newer" stuff? Let's do a small swap and compare notes.
