Thanks to the last ice drinker named Paul, I'm smoking Compton's Balkan Mixture in a 1949 medium bend Dunhill Shell. I "liked" his post. :p::poke:

Nothing, I was planning on some well aged Union Square but first snow fall of the year and a very long overdue haircut made me suddenly realize I was unprepared for the lower temperatures.

I'm going to be busy working, so I'm listing this one early: Telegraph Hill in my old reliable 1986 smooth Peterson Kildare 999 Rhodesian. That tobacco came from Flatbush Paul, who will come to understand someday that the Saint Bernard has hollow hair as well as legs, which explains his capacity to :dkn:. Ice water properly chilled with li'l floaty icebergs is my drink.

A big thunderstorm last night - typical summer weather here on the SA highlands. But a beautiful clear morning. Got my pipe smoking friend coming over later. Got to make the most of it - he's starting a new contract in the DRC in a couple weeks. Coffee finished & on to the second pipe of the morning - FVF in a Pietenpauw bulldog.

It's arranged around dust bunnies, cobwebs, used pipe cleaners, and Jimmy Hoffa's remains. Believe me, you're not missing much, unless you count the fleas! :D

Speaking of fleas, they just rode off on the back of the Saint Bernard, and while everybody else is sleeping, I'm moments away from smoking Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a slight bend rusticated 1979 Savinelli Estella 310 poker. More work, more ice water, and it's time to hear The Jack Benny Program.

Finished work for the day, and now it's time for another smoke: Old Vienna in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg. That'll be my last one before sleep. In the meantime, Molly's bugging me to play with her, so I'm going to get the ear plugs for her and Suzy.

Enjoying my second bowl of this early morning...SWR in a MM Legend.
On my second cup of coffee as well.

Chilly morning here. Calm and clear (and still dark), with a temp of exactly 30 degrees (F).

Oh are you having a flea problem? Had an infestation here a few summers ago...I used chemical warfare on them, and the war was long, but I finally ended up eliminating them. A victory I often brag about :)
