I've been one ever since I turned 39.
A great time to stop aging!
They made their way into fashion down here about 6 weeks ago. I'm still not used to them enough to remember to put them on! Sure makes counting harder too.
It worked for this man:
Thanks Inky, that made me laugh out loud.
Astley's #44 in a 2005 Todd Johnson 4-knuckle freehand. (American Danish)
And to show I'm still down with the common man I started wih Red Cake in a DGE Canadian. (Redneck Canuck)
Smoking some Maple Street in a MM Diplomat and drinking coffee from a blue spode cup. Waiting for plumber to come replace the hot water heater. Everything is more expensive to replace when your house was built in 1950, but my wife wanted a house with "character".
Morning smoke is CD Blend in the LiL Miss with Maxwell House. Up to 38* outside, but warm and cozy inside. Last day of work before a 4 day weekend... YIPPIE!
Continuing my assent into morning bliss, I'm smoking some Bayou Morning in a Falcon. Starting off with some very nice Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast. I really don't understand this, I lost my taste for coffee 2 years ago and have found that now I can drink Hazelnut and Espresso coffee. Cant stand anything in-between those two opposing extreams in taste.
Back home after a quiet shift to my final and rather welcoming bowl of Elizabethan Mixture washed down with some Pepsi Max.
Now smoking Charlemagne in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega. Simply Orange is my drink.
Moan'n all, my McC breakfast blend in a Kaywoodie bent apple with a push stem, black coffee in a big arse mug, on the front porch polluting Burbank.
I'm laughing so hard I almost ruined a drawing! My mom's visiting and she recognized the show immediately.
Second bowl of CH and more coffee. It's getting close to time to scrounge up something to eat.
My after work smoke was Three Nuns in a G Huybrecht - London Castle. Earl Grey. Listening to the radio news. In the dark on my balcony.
Thanks to Flatbush Paul, I'm smoking Medium Virginia Flake in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend with a ferrule, half black sandblasted, half brown smooth, rough top. A can of 7-Up is my drink.
As things here pick up I've been able to smoke less and less. When I do smoke though it's always Victorian Stroll in the Bjarne Viking Classic. Favorite tobacco and favorite pipe. What's not to love?
Eric, I guess it's a regional thing, but down here we use erinmore flake as a deer repelant. Good luck.
Was having a bowl of McC's 5110 in the Peterson bulldog outside when the mailman arrived with a nice order of tobacco.
Very nice outside in Toronto despite the low temperatures. If it stays like this for a few more weeks outdoor smoking won't be that bad.
