Funny, have never met any forum members personally, but feel like I know some of you just from reading your posts. So... sorry to hear your having a challenging morning FnB. Saw you mention newly aquired Dunhill flake so my current bowl of same tobacco is to you!

If you haven't already tried the simple burleys of PA, CH, and SWR, I would suggest them. Easy going and straight-forward they might provide a nice baseline for comparison.

I smoked LNF in a Seconds by GBD bulldog for this fine New England afternoon smoke break. Still trying to find what smokes best in this pipe, I'm leaning towards VA/Pers , but I'll give SWR a try later for completeness. Hope everyone has a happy and healthy Friday!

Having issues staying awake/being motivated today.

Brigham billiard with Erinmore Flake and some freshly brewed coffee. Threw on the Vikings show. Interesting start.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try some PA and SWR soon. I've only tried CH out of those and I have to admit that it tastes a lot different to me than MB London Burley or Golden Extra. I don't know if I'd be able to pinpoint the consistent burley taste between CH and those two. Though, I haven't had any CH since I've had to two MB blends so maybe I need to go back to it. Carter Hall to me has a sweet...almost Smarties-like taste to me (which I do like, especially first thing in the morning) where the MB blends have that much richer, dark chocolate-type sweetness.

Firing up a bowl of Classic Burley Kake in the Rekamepip maple tank and going back to work. The day is so damp and chilly, I think I might switch from coffee to hot chocolate.

    Well, wasn't motivated
    enough earlier to fire
    up the lathe, and now
    Stormy is in town.
    There's always tomorrow.
    Besides, I haven't had
    some quality time with
    Liara yet, so it's back
    inside to put the smack
    down on some Cerberus
    Bastids.

I am truly ashamed to say that I have not even started to play 3 :bag: Now that the wedding is done with, perhaps I'll have some time to remedy that.

smoking a bowl of my winter time blend
making a fresh pot of coffee

Currently trying to teach myself how to upload listings onto ebay
as i have not done that site in years ! as well as trying to format my listings with frontpage express
    :shead:

    It is a SLOW PROCESS

and before you all rake me over the coals for jacking up my prices - all i can say is - Hey !- if you want it cheaper - just ask.
There may be a market for higher priced rock cobs and rustic looking freehands with people willing to pay much much more -

A belated get well to Sir F of nB.

Finishing off the day with a straight falconful of Key Largo washed down with the veritable bucket of tea.

Time for a sweet smoke, so it's Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2013 MM straight Legend. No animals were harmed in the smoking of this tobacco.
