Had some McC 5110 in the Bekler meer, along with some Macallan scotch.

    Latakia in the fall...

Bowl #2 this evening is Germaine's Plum Cake Mixture in a London Made Straight Grain Squat Tomato. Cleaned this pipe real good this past weekend and the flavor of this blend is comming thru real nicely slowly sipped. Feels like cooler air is moving in this evening as the windows are opened in the sunroom. Y'all continue to have a fine fine evening!

I concur. Another of my faves is Butera's Kingfisher. Stocked up well on that when it started getting hard to find. ;)

I just got cigarsarge's bounty in our FOG/FNG trade. Whoa! I've got some really interesting stuff to try. First on the list is Gawith & Hoggarth's Dark Plug. I'm going to stuff it into the Savinelli Milano 803KS for the first go at it. I'm not even really sure how to smoke this stuff. I'll have to do a bit of reading before I go at it. Good way to start the evening after a long long day!

I had a wonderful steak dinner cooked by m'lady, and am relaxing for a few minutes before returning to work with a bowl of FVF in a small 1982 three quarter bend meer with a smiling turbaned Turk's head.

Glad to read this because cigarsarge just send me some G&H Brown Irish X and I wasn't quire sure how to smoke it. The cigar cutter makes perfect sense.

This G&H Dark Plug is some seriously different tobacco! I've had Dark Flake, which is the closest thing to this that I've tried. This is both strong as an ox but mellow and smooth too. I just packed up the loose bits from the chunks Sarge sent me. I'm looking forward to taking a proper slice of this and giving it a try.

That Dark plug will put hairs on the hairs on your chest. Love that stuff. I've been out forever and dying for another piece. You used to be able to get it at Mars cigars, forever ago.
