After second rounds of JackKnife Plug and Connoisseur's Choice and a bowl of Dunhill Flake, I'm now seeing out the day with a Falconful of Key Largo.

Smoking some ancient Esoterica Kingsbridge in a Meerschaum ...

Fortunately those turned out to be sugar crystals, not some deadly toxin.

Thuber is like Mikey: he'll smoke anything. And seeing that Thuber's vanished from this forum, I suspect he may have smoked the wrong thing. I knew that combo of Toadstools and Mixture 79 was not a good idea. :msty:

Either he was drunk, or he is a Nazi. Or it's just a swastika. Or he has a fear of flying and just doesn't know how it looks like from above.

    Afternoon, fellows.

I've been on a Brit OTC binge lately. Smoked all of my Condor RR and most of a Warrior Plug. Right now it's Walnut Flake in a Ser Jacopo paneled apple.

Had a bowl of Peterson's Perfection Plug in the MM Diplomat with plum Forever Stem. All packed up and heading out for the last pipe club meeting of the year where the host is popping a tin of 2010 Christmas Cheer for all to enjoy. Will be bringing the Sergey Senatorov Fish & Arrow, the Askwith 9 1/2" Cutty Churchwarden Morta and Paulo Becker Morta, the Thurman canted Dublin with bamboo shank and the Benner Olive Wood with bamboo shank, should be fun.

Im getting some C&D Night Train ready to go into an MM Washington. After reading and responding to Smokey Tom's blind review, I found myself craving its deep brassy richness. Hope everyone enjoys whats left of your day without regret!

Thanks to Inkybat, I'm smoking some Erinmore Flake in a cob. This is pretty damn good stuff. Thanks Eric! :th1:

After this, I'm going to smoke some HU Dockworker from PipeSimmo!

All while continuing on my Buffalo Trace binge. I may switch to Seagrams 7 in a bit, just because I like it.

Enjoying a 50/50 mix of Superior Navy Flake and Mac Baren Black Ambrosia in a straight MM Pride ...

My mixing experiments are usually unsuccessful. But this formula of combining Virginia with black cavendish seems to work in many cases.

I can't smoke Black Ambrosia on its own: the flavor's too flat, and the aroma's too penetrating. But combined, the SNF enriches the overall flavor, while BA gives the Virginia flake a nice aroma enhancement. A mellow refreshing smoke with an outstanding snork.
