Smoked two bowls back to back of some Uhle's #00, thanks Flatbush Paul so much. Smoked both in a Falcon and it's something special, alright. I have not had that much experience with burley except PA and GE. #00 smoked so nice and cool when gently sipped and it did not have any of that "other" taste like PA or the MacB GE, which is a good thing. It's way milder than what I normally smoke but had a nice natural tobacco taste to it which I like. Still have some PG tips in a mug to sip on.

Got the tail end of a bowl of MacBaren Golden Extra burning away in my Piazzolla Lovat. This pipe loves Burley. Think I will have to start breaking in one of the remaining 5 pipes I bought from this guy to see if they all smoke so well. I love it when a cheap pipe turns out to smoke like a beast.

PS Turkish mixed with GH Kendal and GH DarkBirdseye
    = Cowboy Blend

in bamboo shanked red pipestone pipe

The Smokey Goodness of the Kentucky Dark Fired in the KENDAL sets this blend into the top 10 of my favorites
    ( well today anyway )

i got to go find my clay pipe - i bet that would be good to smoke this with

Not really sure what I am smoking in my black rockcob right now. Just unpacking hunting stuff and found a Baggie with about a bowl so I figured the easiest way to figure it out was to smoke it.

965 in a Ben Wade pot. Much better than pot in a Ben Wade 965. :hp2:

Thumbs up! I experienced it the same way - nice and cool, smooh and mild - but full tobacco flavor. zappano, whom I gave a small sample of it, totally freaked out. Just a minute ago I received an email from Uhle's saying that they will ship to Germany. woohoo. :ohyh:

Well in this case not so good. My buddy lee started smoking a pipe again, but only when he goes to deer amp. This was 965 that he had in a Baggie since last year and it was too dry. I just dumped the bowl. I much prefer the stuff in the jar It came from.

Time for a sweet smoke: Bacchanalia in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter with a flared top and yellow stem. Think I'll have another cup of coffee, too. Heated to the proper temperature, of course.

My wife came out on the porch and said that cigar smelled so good she was going to leave the door open

I fully expect to find my credit card smoking from being swiped somewhere repeatedly. This feels like a trap.

Now I'm smoking some more CH in a diplomat and drinking Evan and coke. Poor man's delight.
