Still working, and now smoking Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed in a 1970s GBD Prehistoric Rhodesian 9438 with a perspex stem. Ice tea properly chilled with floaty li'l icebergs who have just learned how to swim is my drink.

Good evening fellas, smoking G&H Black Irish Twist, I have now smoked around two ounces out the four I ordered, I bought it as a dare to myself, along with four ounces of the Rum twist, the Rum twist is all gone! The burnt steak taste of the Irish Twist, although not unpleasant is quite dominant and I can't say I'm getting used to it, I was hoping that, like with other tobaccos the taste develops and improves, that cannot be said for Irish twist, there is nothing else that I have smoked that comes anywhere close to this tobacco, but I will finish it all and then I will write a review, happy smoking chaps!

Newminster Superior Round Slices in a cob. Finally got off back order after a 3 month wait and glad I did not cancel it. Got my normal 80.oz sample for a first try tobacco and it has been a good smoke straight out of the bag. I also like the small coins it comes as. Easy to just stuff whole into the pipe.

Pelican in the Nording...I've had a serious taste for latakia and oriental lately. And I'm off to the library again for one more evening of studying before part one of my qualifying exam tomorrow morning. I feel good about it, but some stress about this is unavoidable.

That's more or less how I clean the Tap pipe, being all metal, hot water soon dissolves any tar :old:

This is my first try of this blend and it's wonderful! Very well balanced. I'll probably be cellaring at least a lb.

    Cheers! :bing:

SouthBound Evening, fellows. I just shot a squirrel out of my pecan tree,
Wicker Man Ah! but was it a Combat Squirrel ?

SouthBound If he's for hire, I'll pay him all the pecans he can eat to keep the rest of his brethren away from my tasty nuts.
Highstump OK, somebody take this and run with it. I'm not going anywhere near it.

GH Dark Flake U/S in a Grandi. I keep trying to like this tobacco - Hell, I'd better. I have almost a pound of the stuff - But I'm just not feeling it. All it does is make my mouth itch/burn/taste like crap. I've had it jarred for 15 months and it just hasn't done a thing for me, even with age.
