Just lit up Briar Fox in the Spoolcob. The winter weather has come out in force today, it's about 30F out. Just relaxing before my family and I head out to dinner in an hour or two. A hot cup of chai tea is my drink.

Well, if it starts snowing, I'll break out the Bulwark and a Blakemar.

My guess is that fantasy artists find them more interesting to draw or paint.... I drew a Turkish style pipe for this hedgehog.

As you would expect, I have too much class to say "I told you so." However, the Saint Bernard asked me to rely this message to you: :p::p::p::p::p::booty::bangin::hbang::ohyh::old::old::old::old::old::old::poke::sh::sailor::thu2:

Personally, I'd never say any of that myself.

While waiting to go out to dinner, I'm smoking C&D White Burley in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe.

Today I cleaned up my pipes and got out my Grandpa's hand carved pipe. Gave it a good cleaning, a light waxing, the enjoyed a bowl of Peaches and Cream while remembering my Grandpa.

This was just an experiment with what I had left from the jar of GE, so I just estimated 1/3 GE to 2/3 LNF. I did break up the flakes into pieces to be relatively similar in size to get a more even mix. There are some complimentary flavors, so if you do try I'd be curious to know your results.

Todays rain has given way to an evening fog, time to chase away the November dreariness with a no-name metal banded billiard of Hearth and Home Marble Kake.

Probably. Plus there's the whole Lord of the Rings influence. Your work, though, is tremendous.

Thanks a lot Bernard! I think you're right, it probably is LOTR and when Tolkien did illustrations himself for The Hobbit he drew everyone smoking long, churchwarden type pipes. The only fantasy you don't see it is in newer steampunk art.

Smoking a bowl of CH in the MM CG and then heading out for dinner. There's a new Mexican restaurant a short drive away that's supposed to be really good. The brisket tacos are calling my name.
