That's how I've learned to use the site, Jim. You can glean real insightful stuff there if you read the right reviews.

Took a stroll through the neighborhood and enjoyed the remnants of the fall with some McClelland #5110 in the La Rocca bent billiard.

This is one I can see keeping in the rotation. The stoved VA complements the latakia really well.

Waiting for lunch with a bowl of Tilbury in a 2003 black grain etched Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a smooth top. Suzy's not waiting; she bugged me until I got out of my chair, though Molly didn't seem hungry for tuna. Molly's in play mode, and when she's like that, food is not as important as rasslin'.

I just came back from a big family meeting, which has been soooo boring - I need some kind of a special smoke right now. Thanks to MentorBV :toast: I'm going to smoke some Escudo from 2000 in the Castello. Have a great Saturday night everyone!

Time for the proven combo of the Rock Cob with Rocktober blend. Since I put the acrylic stem on this thing, I love it even more. It was good to begin with, but it didn't work so well as a clencher because the weight of the rock would bend the MM stem enough to pinch off the airway a bit. Now this is a solid smoking machine!

Thanks to Artistik, I'm smoking 1991 St. James Woods in a 1970s slight bend smooth Danish Sovereign XXX 309 with a flat front sitter. A can of Coke is my drink.

Onto another pipe. This time I'm loading up the Calabresi (the one on top) with some Mac Baren Dark Twist as I enjoy the sunny day on the balcony. This Calabresi is really becoming one of my very favorite pipes. It isn't that pretty, it was almost as cheap as a cob and there's nothing fancy about it, but man does it smoke well. It seems to fit me just right.

Well today is the day I do stuff around the house. Outside today with one of my BST's loaded up with some Drew Estates heirloom cherry. The wind is picking up and there is a VERY defined winter chill in the air. Gonna try to get rid of the last of my yard debris today. With the wind it will probably look as if I did nothing in several hours.:byg:
