Been up for a while, and just finished smoking PS Cube Cut in a small 1970s smooth three quarter bend XXX Danish Sovereign 324 sitter. Be back with a drink and a smoke.

Coffee just finished brewing and I just lit up a bowl of Angler's Dream in a 2013 medium bend Spillproof corndog cob. Suzy and Molly are happy because they've eaten wet food twice this morning. I'm happy because the coffee's ready!

Bowl No. 2 on this fine Sunday morning is Sutliff's Bosphorus Cruise in my Caboom Sabbis Pubbis. The coffee is gone. I might make some more. We'll see. Puff on!

25-degrees here this morning. And the 30 mph wind gusts make it feel like around 9. Started day with tea of course. "Lucky Irish Breakfast" tea from Republic of Tea. EMP was first smoke and got me through my morning reading. Now smoking John Bull in a cob. Finally starting to enjoy it. In a mm cob it is a little sweet.

I've been wondering about John Bull lately...may have to pick me up a pouch soon.

Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a MM straight cob, and lots of warm coffee :puffy:

Thanks Simon! Such a great little pipe, just wish it was a better clencher. Hard to bite down ion a round, metal bit.

Pipes and Cigars was offering it with a pipe as part of a promotion about a moth ago. I got it free. Did not like it at first. But right now I'm smoking a second pipe of it for the mornings third smoke. It is worth a try.

Is it because of the round metal bit or just the fact that it is a straight pipe? I find straight pipes generally not as good to clench as bent ones. If it is only the round stem - I would just "bite it to shape"! :byg:

It's so light and well balanced that the shape is fine for clenching, it's just that my teeth can't seem to comfortably hold on to the bit, it rolls a little. But mainly the material feels funny against my teeth. I may try to fit a rubber bit but I do't think it'll fit. I should try and find a small piece of rubber to fit around the tip.

    Good Morning,
Can't smoke too much with this damned cold! I did have some Steven Books First Pipe in a Davorin Morta Bent Egg with my morning black coffee though.

    Happy Sunday Smoking,
    Paul
