I just froze my hands having a quick smoke of some MB London Burley in my Amphora Xtra 814. I gotta say, this thing was one of my best antique shop finds though it hasn't seen a lot of use because the bowl is so small. For a day like today with temps in the 20's, that small bowl comes in handy. Just enough to satisfy my craving and look good doing it! Hah, not the prettiest pipe actually...it kind of looks like a walnut with a genetic disorder.

Haha!! You need to take this pic to your nearest barber and get that haircut! You'll be a true trendsetter.

Cheery 'Good Morning' to all of you! 22 F this morning in ABQ. Snowed overnight in town, but it didn't amount to much on the ground. Maybe more today and tonight. Roads East, West, North and South very icy. Started a fire in the wood stove and made some hot chocolate to start the day.

A speedy recovery for you, I hope, Nick.

Not smoking at the moment. Getting ready to go to a dinner to honor my late father-in-law. In my experience, we may not be home for a long time. Puff on PSFers!

Heading for a high of only 32 today. Unlike me, Teddi is enjoying our outdoor time. Finished up laundry and now enjoying Peterson's Con. Choice in the Peterson Donegal Rocky. Propel Blueberry/Pomegranate is my drink. Hot tea is next.

While waiting for lunch, I'm getting in a bowl of Rum and Maple in a smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin. Very enjoyable tobacco.

Thank you and don't feel sorry for me in the truck; it really isn't that bad. It really isn't any colder than my garage and I have further sight lines here. Also a good stereo. And the privacy in here is great. The only way I could improve on this is if I was hunting this morning, but wife needs me. Hopefully I will get out to some of my local haunts with my 12 gauge this week. The last week of firearm season.

While dreaming of hunting and listening to the Rolling Stones I am really enjoying the smoke my Larsen, and the mcclellands blackwoods flake within it, is providing me at the present.
