Great day! Had a wonderful brunch with my family then headed to my mother in law's for a visit. Enjoyed her enclosed (and heated) back porch with McC Holiday Spirit in the Country Gent. Then followed it up with some Dunhill Flake in the Dr. G Duke. In retrospect would probably have been better to reverse the order, but still very enjoyable. Now back home watching Denver/New England and thinking about the coming week. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Thanks Ron. And congrats on a solid cowboys win. That game was much more enjoyable than watching my lions choke under the pressure of their own success for the second week straight.

Thanks to Artistik, I'm smoking 1991 St. James Woods in a 2001 medium bend straight grain Karl Erik freehand with a silver ferrule. I've just enough left for a cob.

Nobody's found Thuber yet. He's next to Judge Crater.

Btw, I hope you got all that yellow crime tape out of your toupee hair.

No smoking on the property. If caught smoking on the balcony they add $200 on your bill.

depending on how long it was air dried..... and if you are doing small dimensional project that helps....
I made a coffee table from air dried oak one time. Within the 1st year the table warped and i got lucky how it rolled up on the edges and made for an almost spill proof table top. I gave it to a buddy who drank a lot and spilled drinks quite often - the table lasted for years of abuse !

Former's Cross Grain Flake in a Diplomat ...

Turn my back 3 seconds on this pipe and it develops another thick cake. The shank is even worse. Once a week I'm calling on the services of Mr. Kleen Ream. And using bristle cleaners instead of soft after every smoke seems to make no difference. Maybe it's because I smoke the hell out of this pipe. Yeah, maybe THAT'S it.

Many thanks. Typing with both hands again this evening, a little slow but adequate. Necessary to be clenching the Sav with Magnum Opus. :)
