Just finishing Charlemagne in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega. Going for a new smoke and a drink.

Thanks to Artistik, I'm smoking Saint James Woods in a 2013 slight bend red stone Rockcob poker. This will finish the trade sample. Delicious tobacco. A cup of hot tea is my drink. It's been a boring morning so far, which is just fine with me. I'll have enough to keep me busy the rest of the day.

Time to give John Bull a rest and switch to another cob filled with Half and Half. I guess my tongue needs a good bite! A bottle of Poland Springs water straight out the freezer is my drink.

While I deal with spreadsheets and accounting software, I'm listening on-line to KING-FM out of Seattle. They just finished "Mozart at 8". The music has certainly helped my mood.

The rent is now paid and I'm now free to pollute my landlord's airspace with the fruits of a bowlful of JackKnife Plug on the Benfield.

About to fire up some Old Joe Krantz in my Savinelli Milano....it's cold out, but who cares. I've taken to making a full pot of coffee and sticking it in a big Coleman thermos so I can keep refilling my cup all day long.

[IMG]Good afternoon, Good people. My fishin' bud stopped by this morning and we smoked, drank coffee, and talked of fishing past. A person who has helped define my life. I have this morning, enjoyed multiple bowls of PS Cube Cut in a Mastro de Paja canadian. Smoke in Pease.

A nice lunch is followed by a nice smoke: Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1980s smooth slight bend Wally Frank Dublin. Simply Lemonade is my drink. Suzy and Molly had lunch, too but they had wild salmon and egg, and I had a ham and cheese sandwich with potato chips. We're all happy now.

Just in from my first smoke in my recently purchased Stanwell billiard, which arrived from Viking Pipe Club today (thanks Mattia!) Fantastic smoker! Huge bowl, the bowl feels enormous after smoking the Eltang sailor so much the last couple of days. Had some G H and Co Rum Flake with coffee.

I finished the inks on the cover! Which is the most time consuming part of the process, next I scan it and colour it. After this smoke I'm tying myself to the drafting table until it's all done.

Feels like the weather is holding it's breath here on the Lake, like it's about to let loose with lots of fresh snow any minute. But still quite mild. Perfect late fall day.
