No kidding. That's awesome work brother.... Now make me one
That reminds me, I need to order up some bulk 5100 Red Cake.
My favorite no frills Virginia.
Enjoying some Three Nuns (old version) with another mug of mulled wine...the last one of the morning I promise
Decided to have Simply Orange for a drink. I decided on another short smoke, which is C&D White Burley in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe. The sharpness of this tobacco will wake me finally. Suzy and Molly were up, but since they don't smoke, they're back in bed.
Now smoking John Bull in a cob.
I'm now about a third of the way through a bowl of Devil's Holiday and I've just got to say....
Beefheart, what the hell are you trying to do to me?
I smell like a raspberry tart. Thank God Mrs. Stick isn't home. I'd probably be stuck smoking this stuff forever.
Another bowl of Turkish shag
simply dr pepper is my drink
I'm smoking Dunbar in my Rossi taking a break from packing for the trip up to Erie for Thanksgiving. For some reason I think I need to bring nearly all of my pipes and loads of tobacco even though we'll be gone for only four days. Better to be prepared, right?
Since I had a successful day yesterday and got paid today, PAD is rearing it's lovely head. I'm scouring the webz trying to decide how best to satisfy the hunger....so many good options. Keep a cool head, Beefheart.
Haha! I don't smoke that one often, but sometimes it just hits the spot!! You'll see, you'll be craving that out of the blue a few weeks down the road.
Found a little of Rekampip's ( AKA The Mad Mixer from Missouri ) english blend, in a Chacom.
I was working away here and when I looked up I saw the mailman at the screen door waving a 4Noggins box for me. My Solani Silver Flake arrived! This stuff is fantastic, the sweetest natural Virginia I've ever smoked. I immediately wanted another bowl when I was done. Even my wife loves the smell, which is unusual for pure tobaccos. The box is huge and is the only tobacco tin I have that is hinged. Had it in a Peterson bent bulldog with some coffee. I have to admit, the reason I bought the Silver Flake is because it was one of the rare tobaccos to get a "highly recommended" on Tobacco Reviews. I can see why!
Blustery outside, but I
will prevail in smoking
Condor RR in the Lost
We've got quite a bit of that up here too. Did you get any rain last night?
Old Dublin in a Pete Standard System while walking to the flower shop. GF:s birthday tomorrow.
The ground was soaked
when I went out earlier.
Thinking about what to have for lunch, but in the meantime, I'm taking advantage of Flatbush Paul trade samples, and am smoking Compton's Commonweal Mixture in a mid-1970s black rusticated straight Savinelli Estella 915 KS. Thinking about having some hot tea, too.
thanks mate, in the Pipe Maker thread can you see a "photostory"
Haha, i´ve send him a few pic´s by mail, and 1 minute later he rings me up
Just came home, all the work for the day is done. woohoo
- coffee is brewed, new tin is pooped, pipe is stuffed, Simmo is ready.
Christmas approaches, so I thought it might be the right time to finally try out the Cheer.
Ran through several bowls of 965 in the plum Forever Stemmed MM Diplomat and several rounds of PRM's. Foul weather, rain and gusting winds so the MM Diplomat with plum Forever Stem gets the call due to the really thick cake it has which means I can literally smoke it solo all day with it not getting hot or giving a bad smoke, currently enjoying a lovely bowl of Dunhill Flake in it in this rainy gusty fury!
Tin Pooping Days of Christmas is soon around the corner !!!
