M'lady fed Suzy and Molly earlier, so they were quite sedate when I awoke, and still are. I finished the last of the Simply Orange, and am contemplating my next drink as I smoke Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front. A long day awaits, and so does a nap. I wonder which shall win out first?

Currently working on an illustration for a story based on Chinese folklore/ghost stories. It's damp and dreary out so I need a cheery smoke. Having some McC's Holiday Spirit (thanks to ruffinogold) in the Sasieni panelled billiard and coffee on the side.

Melorning, Good Folk! Starting the day with Rekamepip Sinphony II mix in the Rekamepip bark rusticated walnut cone. Chock Full O' Nuts is giving me the taste of New York with every sip.

Uhle's #oo today. DGE Spool first. Then a RockCob. Then a briar (probably a BST Pot). This is for science!

AJs VaPer in a Peterson Kildare Prince earlier this morning.

Just stuffed Frog into an Ascorti Pot.

I am leaving shortly with my wife to pick up my Mother-in-Law. We are taking her to lunch, then shopping, then back to our place for dinner. Its kind of our Wednesday routine. I was trying to pick a less offensive smoke before we set out. My surprisingly tolerant wife says all tobacco stinks, but surely, I would think, some are better than others. Apparently, I'm not very good at identifying satisfying blends that manage not to offend.

I'm really digging this Latakia right now, but I think I may have blown it again.

Now smoking 1980s Union Leader in a 1979 medium bend etch relief meerschaum lined TinderBox Arabesque. Thought I'd give UL a chance since I haven't smoked it in a while.

I am listening to '80s tunes. Holy crap, I survived the 80's so why am I trying to relive those mostly hazy days? Smoking my newly acquired BASIL MEADOWS 2Stem Poker!!! Woot!!!! Oh yeah, the baccy is Rekamepip's August Blend. I took a day off today to rearrange my "smoking room" . Or maybe cuz I knew my new pipe was a coming?

A box from South Carolina! A Savinelli bag inside! Nice!!! My Savinelli Virginia 603 has arrived, looking just lovely! Looks clean too. I just need to clean the rim which I'm going to do right now.

Almost finished jaring up all those terrific blends FlatbushPaul sent me. The smell of pipe tobacco inside the house is wonderful and I didn't even smoke anything by now.
Gonna change that with a first bowl of a new-to-me-blend. Compton's Commonweal Mixture in a Tinsky Xmas 2011 bulldog pipe.

Thanks again for hating me Paul! :ohyh:
