Melorning all, happy Friday! I'm starting my day with an old favorite Peter Stockabye Luxury Navy Flake in my MM Spool. I'm drinking the custumaey black coffee from the large brown mug. I probably won't get caught up on this thread today. Too much to do, and too far behind. Never the less, keep on smoking, I''ll catch up!

It's ok Jon, you're allowed to think that the single best production car ever made (that you can get for a terrific price to boot) is a nice car to drive. I mean, for gods sake, you wouldn't want to be seen driving around in some beat-up Porsche or ancient Volvo, would you? Of course you wouldn't.

Good morning folks, smoking Penzance in a Radice. It's finally the time of year when I feel like smoking Latakia. And that's a good thing.

Working from home today First day I've done this. Not sure I like it, but at least I can smoke! And started the day with EMP in a Peterson system pipe. Life is good so far.

You're on! We'll start at the Roscoe Diner, head toward Livingston Manor, left on Beaverkill Road, another left on Campsite Road, left onto Craigie Clair, and the last left will be at camp.

Loser has to clean the fish:)

    Thanks!

It's a wavy top Cavicchi 4C Bent Dublin I bought from Mike Glukler of Briar Blues during our pipe show here in Tucson about 10 years ago. That was back in the days when you could buy Cavicchis for reasonable prices ... plus Mike cut me a deal I absolutely couldn't refuse. Amazing pencil thin straight grain with birds eye top and bottom. And probably my best smoking smooth Cavicchi.

The photos never do justice, but one day I'll learn to use a digital camera.

Enjoying some Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a Charatan Perfection ...

48*F in North Florida this morning and breezy which calls for a little latakia with my coffee on the drive in to work. So, thanks to JimInks, I'm smoking Academy in a Neerup bent rhodie. I'm going to get a flu shot latter this morning. I hope that doesn't involve being sick over this long weekend. I plan on a pipe smoking marathon this weekend, burning up a bunch of samples while remembering our Veterans and thanking them and those currently serving for their servive to this great country.

JimInks - glad you had a good checkup with the dentist.
FnB - good to hear the great news.
Paul - hope everything goes well today. I'm pulling for you.

As Jim would say, "I'm posting this smoke a little early". I've rubbed out and loaded two flakes of Peter Stockabye Luxury Twist Flake into my DGE Brier Nose-warmer, so that I'll be able to quick-draw it when I finish my current smoke. I'll probably be driving. Usually I don't worry loading a pipe while driving, but I feel like rubbed out for my next pipe. Driving while rubbing out, especially in a vehicle this size, can sometimes be quite messy.
The P. R. walkabout is under way, so I'm drinking complimentary coffee from the traditional styrofoam cup. I'm still sipping on this PS LNF in my MM Spool. Puff on PSFers!
