Awake again, so I'm smoking. Thanks to Artistik, it's McClelland #5100 Red Cake in a very ugly reddish color 1980 medium bend Lorenzo Leganza Sigma 8635 etched rough top. Just gave Suzy and Molly some chicken and cheese, so they're happy as can be. Well, on to doing stuff.

    Happy birthday fordy.
It's 48*F, no wind and a clear morning. I am planning to go through several samples today, but I am starting with Academy (thanks JimInks) and coffee 'cause I need a little Latakia. Piper Mike is coming over this morning so we will have a bowl or two together.

Getting an early start to my Saturday. Just finished my first wake up cup of coffee and starting my second. Now I'm good to go for a bowl of Squadron Leader in a old Digby Bulldog. I have a few errands to run this morning and it's back here for grass cutting and general yard maintenance. Beautiful day in store with a good chance of Latakia by mid-day. Congrats Stick to you and the future Mrs. Snake on your big day and Happy Birthday to Fordy across the pond. Y'all have a fine fine PSF day!

Sending best wishes to walkinstick on his big day and I hope his weather is much better than mine. Mid 40s but gusting winds here in Michigan.

Thus I have been forced into my truck where 45 feels pleasant while enjoying some mcclelland classic Samsun in my savinelli duca Carlo bent acorn.

    Happy birthday fordy!

Got a Birthday blast yesterday from MarkinCa! In it included a tin of Sextant. After going 22 hrs yesterday on about 2 hrs of sleep I woke up this AM at 0600 ready to dive into Sextant. Packed it into my "Pot Pot" that I bought from Ruffingold and I love it! It's about 42f here with an Rh at 42%, perfect! I'll let the black coffee provide moisture to the dry air!

I'm finally fitting in my "Friday" MB Plumcake in a Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade ... sparkling iced water on the side.

A bit worried about my Internet weather channel though. For weeks (months maybe) they seem to be beating the drum for all out nuclear war against the animal kingdom, especially sea creatures. Every day they photograph some fearsome new behemoth that hurls itself onto a beach somewhere before realizing--alas too late--that its gill mechanism is incapable of coping with terrestrial existence. But perhaps we should go ahead and blast them anyway, just to be safe! ... I fear this is the general tenor or thrust to which my weather channel seems to be building.
