    :appl: Love Irish music.

I'm now sitting on the porch in a rocking chair smoking Carter Hall in the Basil Meadows. I found CH at Ingles grocery for 2.95 a pouch. $27 for the tub. I'll be coming home with quite a bit. The boss was with me when I bought these so I didn't want to get carried away

That's how I feel about Dark Flake unscented. I still haven't tried ODF. I will now though.

Well the good news for me is the wife's surgery will take place about three days after my return from hunting so up north I go tomorrow afternoon. Just got to work and am finishing a bowl of abf in my Roma.

[IMG] Made my shopping list and am off to the market. Being out of V8 is not a good thing, how else would one make virgin Bloody Mary's? Some C&D Burley Flake #3 in a Charatan is my companion.

I'm sneaking out for a quick smoke. Steven Books First Pipe in a Sav Opera Billiard with some seltzer to quench my thirst. Ok, so it won't be so quick.

There were rumours that it was snowing out so I packed the Brigham billiard with Prince Albert Cherry Vanilla (thanks ruffinogold!) and had a look. No snow but a great smoke.

It's a cold, rainy/snowy day here in Metro Detroit. Got a big ol' cast iron pot of chili on, and prepping a pot of venison barley soup. Got the woodstove going, gonna sit and relax in a bit and watch Vietnam HD I have been recording. Got a bowl of Escudo ready to go in a Russ Cook Pick Axe.

After dinner smoke with some well prepared tobacco (because I used a tobacco mat by sorringowl and sons, not my accustomed coffee filter) in a pipe.

A lot of rain tonight in Athens - Greece. Strong raining and thunders. My dog Ektoras is feeling insecure because he is afraid when he hears the thunders' big noise. Smoking a bowl of "Four Squires Flake" by Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. in my Amadeus pipe.

Thanks! I am curious though, by "missed a lot" do you mean missed a lot of posts? Or perhaps you mean there were changes to the forum?
Either way, thanks for the welcome my friend :)
I'll probably post the reason for my 5 month or so disappearance...nothing dramatic, but I had some medical problems and then just kind of kept putting off visits back to PSF.

Now firing up SWR in a MM Legend :puffy:
Restocked my SWR, SWRA and MCB jars today :)

Golden Extra in the Dr. G. Cardinal billiard.

Walkinstick's photo of all those OTC pouches above is making me want to finally break down and go get some CH and PA from the drugstore for myself.

Thank you to any and all veterans out there! :th1:
